i still have to buy the game.
but some DLC pricing has become ridiculous.
to me $9.99 should be a map pack with at least 4 maps and 4 weapons and some new forces or game modes.
full games can be up to $14.99 depending on longevity and type of game
and characters / skins should be $0.99 or $1.99 if they introduce new fighting styles or something.
and puzzle games my range from $4.99 to $9.99 but no puzzle game should exceed that cause most of them are available on the net in some form or another.
and games that are literally a copy of an existing free game (zuma , mahjong etc) should be $5.99 at the most.
anyway that is my price rating system regarding DLC of any kind.
so this is a no go.
this should cost either $2.99 if they are skins only or $5.99 if they introduce new fighting styles
*Darn. I just bought this game like 2 or 3 weeks ago. Thanks, EA. =/ I'll probably wait for a DLC pack that has all of the characters for like 15 bucks in the future. . It'll happen.
@tnmnsquare: It starts awkward, but after a few matches it's second nature. A bit of practice and it's fine. Sure, it's gonna throw the wrong punch from time to time, but it's usually because you really didn't do the proper motion.
Stick control definitely doesn't deserve all the complaining it gets.
"Naturally, that's gonna cost you." - It wasn't that natural until a few years ago. Oh how lucky are we for this progress.
And why do PS3 players have to pay for George Foreman alternative versions? We already bought his grill to play the game on
I like the analog now it does seem alot more ACCURATE than the buttons but atleast it will stop everyone from BITCHING i guess. Sad ppl can't get used to this control scheme like i did trust me I was a big button guy in FN3 but in R4 you need the accuracy of the analog stick because of the SWEEEEET SCIENCE!
Glad to see EA listening to their customers and giving out FREE DLC! And its weird that people are getting mad about EXTRA OPTIONS. When has extra options been a bad thing? So what if these so called "noobs" use the face buttons? Its supposed to be about fun not elitism, its a freaking game. And if these buttons let the people who threw down $60 have fun, I'm all for it.
@The Red Comet: What I find hilarious is people bragging about how awesome they are at the game and then whining that button controls will totally mean button mashers will start winning.
