Not content to play as the prerendered fighters in the game, or as themselves, the brothers KindaGamey decided to try and import the face of their cat, Sufjan, into the game. Well, to try and import their cat's face into Fight Night 4.

After loads of tries and messing around with the face recognition software, the two were left with a fighter sporting a, in their words "sad, squat little blotchy face. Certainly not the human fighter with a cat head we would have liked."

I can't help but think that this is the modern equivalent of trying to teach a pig to sing, something that, old adages tell us, shouldn't be done because it annoys the pig and wastes your time.

And in this case, though, the pig has claws.

<![CDATA[Fight Night 4 Is Realistically Slimy]]> The new physics engine for EA's Fight Night Round 4 brings you closer than ever to the true experience of having your head sliding against a large sweaty man's armpit.

It's all well and good when demonstrating boxing with a bald guy. What I was to see is real-time hair deformation as it slides underneath your opponent's underarm, perhaps with a little hair-hooking, just in case the other boxer didn't shave recently. Only then will I be truly impressed. Until then, I'm only slightly impressed.

<![CDATA[Fight Night 4 Shown Off At GameStop Expo]]> Newsweek's N'Gai Croal is at the GameStop Expo in Vegas. And he's seeing stuff. Stuff that , we're guessing, only GameStop managers are supposed to be seeing. Not saying he snuck in, just, you know. Saying. Case in point: there are some games being unveiled behind closed doors. One of them is Fight Night 4, by EA. Details so far are sketchy, as it looks like N'Gai is posting via his phone in the dark under his shirt, but he says that while the visuals aren't much of an upgrade over Fight Night 3's, EA are talking up big improvements in the game's physics and AI. And...that's it. Expect more of an announcement when EA get around to actually making a proper announcement.

Any Fight Night fans in the house? [Newsweek]
