Ubisoft broke absolutely no new ground with its announcement of not one, but two new Far Cry games. Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter is hitting the Xbox and will include a new story, characters, and game features but strangely, the same title.

Next Chapter will be hitting the Xbox 360 as well as the original (if you can call a sequel that) Far Cry Instincts which will be called Far Cry Predator. The 360 versions of the game will have better graphics and..um stuff.

Remember back when Far Cry was a fresh of breath air, when it was outside the industry looking in? Don't you miss those days?

Gaming Horizons mentions a leaked "classified release date" schedule for GameStops and one of the games on this document - Far Cry Instincts for the Xbox 360. Real or fake? I don't know. Does anyone really care, it is after all Far Cry Instincts, which came out last year on the Xbox? I'm not going to get to excited over a 360 version of a year-old Xbox game - that'd be like getting excited about most of the PSP library. Oh, snap.
