    Yeah, people can have their own tastes. But Twilight is a pop-culture abortion. I mean, I don't like Harry Potter, either, but at least Rowling has a bit of writing talent. Twilight prose is fucking awful. It reads like a 13 goth girl's manuscript from a summer school creative writing class. So I guess it totally makes sense Kojima likes it XD #hideokojima

    This is understandable hence "Vamp" However, I'd say he was interested in vampires (or the genre) beforehand. I just think he'd share his interest in the vampire genre or character to the masses as he felt comfortable with it, nothing more. Another hint for you guys, "Castlevania" #hideokojima

    Maybe in much the same way that things translated from Japanese to English often lose something in translation, perhaps things translated from English to Japanese gain something.

    Like plot, characterization, cohesiveness, structure and literary value.

    If anything, this bit of trivia lessens my disdain for Hideo Kojima's convoluted, overwrought plotting. Anyone who appreciates Stephanie Meyer's "writing" or "plotting" must not take himself THAT seriously.

    I'm a fan of what Kojima does, not what he likes, so what interests him is fine with me as long as it doesn't heavily leak into his work or conflict with my intersts. Never read any Twilight books, but more power to him and those who enjoy it. Hmm, so that's why Sadamoto heightens the romantic elements of the EVA manga.
