Bioshock Faceplates Fetch Big Bucks
I think it's safe to call the Xbox 360 faceplates a complete and utter failure. But every once in a while we're reminded that the idea is fantastic, it's just the lackluster execution that's let gamers down. Case in point: this Bioshock faceplate is a really great design, but limited to only 5,100 units distributed to a closed retail and fanboy populace. Pre-Order Eternal Sonata; Receive Gorgeous Faceplate
The official Eternal Sonata website has appeared as if by magic and has announced that the game is now available for pre-order Gamestop/EB Games. Now, I know a lot of you have the concept of pre-ordering, but this one comes with a pretty great bonus. Pre-order now and receive one five custom faceplates for your 360. They are really quite stunning and I'm not sure if you get your choice of if you're stuck with whatever one they give you, but my choice would probably be the dandy fellow wearing black with the tall top hat. Although seeing as I just came home with the exclusive BioShock faceplate as a gift from my lovely local EB Games clerk, I'd be hard pressed to remove it even for the likes of these. More » -

Camy International announces the launch of their new website, Camy Pro Gear, where they feature their Dual Injection PSP faceplates. Like the official Sony faceplate, these feature a layer of clear plastic over a layer of colored plastic, creating a beautiful under-glass effect with the clear layer also acting as the lens over the screen. Have it your way, Xboxers. The GameFace kit consists of a two-piece faceplate that holds personalized templates placed between high-grade clear polycarbonate. Software lets folks save and print oodles of custom faceplates on blank templates, enabling people to do witty things like print out Sony or Nintendo logos and tack them onto their 360s. Rare Xbox 360 Prototype Faceplate
The guys at gaming site lowdown411 have come into posession of a rare, prototype Xbox 360 faceplate. Last May, Microsoft previewed a buncha plates. Some of them have made it to retailers, while some haven't, including this one. A faceplate with "CONSOLE" on it that you put on your Xbox 360 console. Geddit? Humor so dry, I need a glass of water.
