Fable Trilogy, a bundle comprising the three HD editions of the series (Fable 2, Fable 3, and the upcoming HD re-release of the original) will be available on Feb. 4 from the Xbox Live Marketplace. That's the same day that Fable Anniversary launches for Xbox 360.
Lionhead Studios' gorgeous 1080p HD remake of the original Fable is coming to North America on February 4, with an initial print run packed with goodies to insure chicken chasers pick it up on day one.
Good news: Fable Anniversary has a release window. Bad news: it's next year. Lead designer Ted Timmins took to Lionhead's blog today, letting fans know the Xbox 360 remaster of Fable: The Lost Chapters needed more time, and the game is now slated for a February 2014 release.
Lionhead wants you to design a custom achievement for the recently announced HD remake of the first Fable. People can submit an achievement idea and logo to a dedicated forum thread for a chance to get their achievement into the game, and to win a bunch of prizes, including a set of E3 badges and a copy of the remake.
As I walked into Microsoft's Xbox booth at E3 yesterday, I spotted storied game designer Peter Molyneux waltzing in, looking for Fable Anniversary. He was hunting down the Xbox 360 re-make of a game he'd led the development of on the first Xbox.
