I can understand adding extra content for other genre's of games, but adding new characters in only one part of the planet for a competitive fighting game that is probably going to be at EVO next year isn't a very good idea. (technically it was in it this year, but it was only exhibition matches)
Hopefully, this will come out as DLC later on or heck, a patch.
When the game first came out, I thought to myself that I should pick a character and stick with her, so I picked slow, unwieldly, trap-setting Rachel. I noticed that people were afraid to rush me down, and online matches were a breeze. I later found out that people had found tier lists and Rachel was at the top of them. Then I felt like a cheat for picking a high-tier character. Oh well.
@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: No no sir, Tager is the shit. But he's SO BROKEN. All his grabs are uninterruptable and coupled with his magnetism = you dead.
@DJ-Pie-Safety: Like I've mentioned in previous threads, if you're letting Tager get in close for ANY reason, his damage output is the least of your worries.
@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: Rachel has one of the best rushdowns and higher priority moves in teh game. She's not slow or unwieldly by any means....
Hmmm, I wasn't really considering picking this up, but now I might, just so I can have something Americans don't. :p
And yes, I also own Doshin the Giant and Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land... :/
*edit* And I'd trade both of them for either Baten Kaitos Origins or Tales of Symphonia 2.
I can't believe people are whining about this. They've got some development time during the localization process so they're creating some new content.
In other generations, I might have been upset, but they will be happy to sell this to us as DLC, so the odds of us being left out are slim. Simmer down!
I'm not going to blame them for rewarding Europe's patience with BlazBlue's new exclusive characters - Europe has not gotten a lot of love, you know.
So it's kind of nice to see someone saying, "Dude, we love Europe, and we appreciate you being patient with us, so here's a PAL release in 2010 with some excluuuuu-u-u-u-sive characters!"
I realize that you americans are bitching for a reason, but at least you already have the game.
I will now speak for the whole of europe.
FUCKING HELL YEAH!
Oh, and yeah, you will almost guaranteed get this content sooner or later.
I love how you whine almost more than us europeans did when we realised there were no plans to bring this to europe.
@Janxer: As upset as I am that so far it looks like were not getting this stuff, I have to say I'm kind of happy to see Europe not get totally screwed for once.
@gipmah: I agree. I may be somewhat sore over the exclusive content, but it's nice to see that Europe is finally being rewarded for their patience for a change.
@Popelmaster: I never said that was fair either. But for the game to have content exclusive to a region isn't any more fair than having a game exclusive to a region anyway. You guys would get the game eventually. Would people in America eventually get the new characters? I wouldn't doubt it, but if we do never get the new characters, then my statement stands:
You have to be shitting me. I'm all for accelerating the UK and AU timetables of game releases, but adding extra characters and moves? I must echo others' sentiment: this stuff better be available as DLC.
This is yet another instance where region-locking games does nothing but aggravate consumers.
hahaha, its awesome that we get all this content. It just love everyone whining about this, it probs will be released as extra content, so there is no reason for everyone to get so bitchy that Europe get something that everyone else can.
@hazuki: Who's bitter? I want you guys to get the best possible experience, instead of being relegated to online servers with, at best, 4 or 5000 people on them tops.

On the other hand, if you guys get Kokonoe as a playable character, I'll be cursing your collective continent until Aksys gives me DLC.
