    The brainless mob of soccer moms in Ellen's audience would shhriek with delight if Ellen told them all they were all receiving gold plated turds.Chances are more than half of them didn't even know what the hell it was they were being given, only that it was free.

    What no headsets, Live memberships, or M rated games? How are these kids going to know what the Xbox is really all about?


    In all seriousness though, the arcade comes with 5 free arcade games (most of which are actually really fun), a wireless controller, and a memory stick. So it's not exactly the screwjob package that it used to be.

    I can't believe on a hardcore gaming news site, people are acutally lauding the craptacular Wii over the Xbox360. Don't get me wrong the Wii is great, but a console is only as good as it's games, and in that respect... except for a handful of games, the Wii is a bloated pile o poo!

    Yeah, these people have to pay $99, if they actually figure out that they want to plug it into the internet and download stuff, but as I've learned from women I know that have actually bought an xbox, and yes they unknowingly go for the cheap Arcade flavor... They don't plug it into the internet, they have no clue of all the other features...or how crafty MS is at microtransactions. But, you know... w/ the $99 HD comming out, that's still a heck of a lot better deal that going out and buying a 360 Pro, or Elite! Shoot I'd be excited to get one of them free! It'd be great to have a backup xbox when my primary gets the RROD!

    i've never been a fan of ellen, but she's all right in my book now. If you didn't have an xbox 360, and someone handed you an arcade pack... you would be disapointed?

    I guess they couldn't get ahold of enough Wii. Then again maybe they just wanted to save $50 per unit. Oh wait, it's gonna cost them an extra $100 to get the full experience...
