Series? Hope not.
But it'd fit perfectly that category of movies where you go watch expecting absolutely nothing good, but it ends up being pretty entertaining...
See, what I saw there was her saying "I was typecast for this role and they already plan to make a movie out of this game if things go well. I am looking forward to it."
@Jrinu: Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li, score one for me. Still can't believe it actually made it past quality control. 4% approval rating on rottentomatoes.com. I wouldn't be surprised if a WET gets green lighted before the Halo movie does.

i have this weird love/hate feeling about Dollhouse. I love the concept and after watching "Epitaph one" I really dug how far the direction of the show could go.
But I absolutely detest Eliza Dushku. She has the acting skills of a Panda and emotes worse than a cement block. UGH. It's painful to watch her act, ant yet I find the show oddly appealing at times.
And don't get me started on the FBI dude from Battlestar Galactica.
@heretrix: She's just not right for the role. She's fantastic playing a bad girl (Faith), but it's embarrassing to watch her try to play a hostage negotiator or god forbid... a ninja backup singer.
I have nothing to say about Tahmoh Penikett, he's just awesome.
I actually envisioned Dushku as being this character, so I think it would work pretty well. It would be more of an extension of her Faith character from Buffy, so not mucch difference in the kind of role she would have to play. a one-off movie maybe, but not a Tv series, without it actually leading into a Tomb Raider clone...
Oh, and the video worked for me, and i'm from the UK...
@IronEnd: /yeah, if you watch her fight in Dollhouse, it's pretty obvious she couldn't pull off playing Rubi. She also isn't tough enough, which is unfortunate because they seem to always try and pass her off as tough.
Bitchy she does well, tough, she fails and comes off as forced..
@IronEnd: ... are you kidding me?? Actors dont need to have ANY physical ability these days. wire-fu, green screen, CGI and you're done. If Megan Fox can prended to run away from dust clouds in slow motion, Eliza can pull off wire-fu. Hell, she probably has already had experience with it from her work on Buffy, Angel and Dollhouse.
...you do know that she wouldn't BE Rubi, she would be "pretending"... right? Movies aren't real. well, unless its about Santa. or the Toothfairy. those are Documentaries.

well, hmm ok maybe Eliza can ponder a little longer.

But wait... Oh yeah, she can't act. Damn. Oh well.

And it would be based off a game anyway which lowers the bar even further.
