October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and EA is using PlayStation Home to spread the word. Now through November 11th, the publisher will be selling pink and black football jerseys through the PlayStation Home EA Sports Complex, with the $2 cost going directly to Brees Dream Foundation, a charity established by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in support of breast cancer awareness. The stylish shirts feature a pink number 9 with the name Brees on the back. I fully expect to see a whole hell of a lot of these being worn over the course of the next month.

I'll be buying one myself, and wearing it proudly on those occasions I make it into Home. My older sister is still recovering from her battle with breast cancer last year, with complications from her reconstructive surgery landing her in the hospital more than once over the past several months. While I will never tell her to her face, I love her dearly and plan on fully supporting the kind of causes that helped ensure she stay with us for a long time coming.

<![CDATA[EA Mixes It Up With Club Fight Night]]> EA beats Acitivision's DJ Hero to the punch, launching its own DJ game as part of Club Fight Night, the newly-opened addition to the EA Sports Complex in PlayStation Home.

While the Club DJ mini-game looks rather entertaining, the real action is in the main ring, where two giant, player-controlled robots rock and sock each other senseless. One shall stand, and one shall fall, with the winner treated to exclusive virtual items to help punctuate their accomplishments.

Once you're done beat other players senseless, head to the DJ booth for the Club DJ mini-game. A simple rhythm game, hitting the buttons to the beat causes your avatar to get his or her groove on, with the club lights pulsing and throbbing to your heavy beats. It may not be DJ Hero, but it's free, which counts for something.

As if all of this weren't enough, EA also plans on opening the EA Sports Complex Pro Shop on July 30th, where customization is just a little bit of money away.

The Club Fight Night addition further solidifies the EA Sports Complex's position as the most fully realized location in PlayStation Home. Log on and check it out for yourselves!

<![CDATA[EA Sports Complex Races Onto PlayStation Home]]> EA has launched the first phase of their EA Sports Complex in PlayStation Home, delivering new things to see and do in Sony's virtual world.

The EA Sports Complex is a massive new area to explore in PlayStation Home, with trailers to watch, teasers to view, and a couple of mini-games to whet your appetite for more mini-games to come. Launching in Europe and North America today, the complex already boasts two mini-games for those EA Sports fans who aren't tearing up the internet in their favorite titles: the four-player formula action of EA Sports Racing and an entire floor filled with poker tables, much like the one that recently debuted in EA's Godfather II space in Home.

All of this is just the beginning, with a Golf mini-game, poker brackets, leaderboards, and a rewards system all in the works. To see it all in action, either log in to PlayStation Home or check out the video below!
