LightBox Interactive will be working on several new games for Sony Computer Entertainment of America and the "Playstation family of platforms."

Incognito was founded in 1999 in Salt Lake City with Scott Campbell and David Jaffe, both of whom left in 2007 to form Eat Sleep Play. Incognito was perhaps best known for their work on the Twisted Metal games and their release of Calling All Cars and Warhawk for the Playstation 3. Jobe, on the other hand, may be best know at Kotaku Tower for handing me my balls.

According to the LightBox site, the transition from Incognito to LightBox has been nearly a year in the making and no jobs were lost in the transition. The studio plans to relocate from Salt Lake City, Utah to Austin, Texas this Fall.

Our team is comprised of members that made significant contributions to the games Twisted Metal:Black, War of the Monsters, Warhawk and all of its expansion packs. We're currently engaged in a multi-year, multi-title parternship with Sony Computer Entertainment America developing games for the PlayStation family of platforms.

No word on whether Incognito still exists or if it is now an empty shell.

<![CDATA[Warhawk Expansion Pegged For April]]> When Crecente shared tea and biscuits with Warhawk producer Dylan Jobe at GDC, he was told they were hoping to get the game's second expansion out by either the second half of March or the first half of April. Looking like it's the latter, as SCEA's John Hight told Gamasutra yesterday:

We just released an expansion on Warhawk in September, and we'll release another one in April.
April it is, then!

<![CDATA[Warhawk Expansion Detailed, Priced]]> The official PlayStation blog features new details from Warhawk producer and brass ball gifter Dylan Jobe on the recently confirmed expansion Operation: Omega Dawn. As we've mentioned before, the Warhawk add-on will ship with one new vehicle, the the KT-424 Combat Dropship, a new battlefield, the Omega Factory, featuring 6 layouts, and a new setting. That last one would be nighttime! Spooky.

Jobe and crew have posted new pictures of the expansion and put a $7.99 price tag on the thing. The date is still sometime in December and the gameplay descriptions of taking down the dropship sound just nifty.

<![CDATA[Warhawk Goes Multiplayer, Download Only (Really, This Time)]]> Today's episode of IGN Weekly has an exclusive look at the upcoming Incognito game Warhawk for the PLAYSTATION 3. In it, the outlet confirms a number of previously rumored details.

Yes, the game will be multiplayer only, currently supporting 32-players via dedicated servers. Yes, the game will be a download through the PlayStation Store (despite telling us otherwise), with possible expansions to come.

Additionally, Drew Bradford, associate producer for the game, reveals that both SIXAXIS and analog stick controls are available for players to use.

And on the multiplayer-only front, Dylan Jobe, director of the game, said that "Warhawk has all of its attention focused on making a triple-A online experience. Phasing out the single player allows the team to really polish multiplayer." He later added, "Single player just wasn't up to par."

Shots of ground and air combat, as well as a look at character customization are available at IGN.
