That aside, an ability to play games well is not a requirement and can often be a hinderance to a QA tetser. Devs don't want people running around setting high scores, they want people to find the stuff in the game that is broken.
Some days you'll spend all day walking into walls just to make sure that there are no gaps to fall through other days you won't even get past a menu screen.
