    As far as snafu game development pariahs go, few are more storied and famous, but I think that's the only reason Duke hasn't gone the way of Jazz Jackrabbit...

    Wouldn't Brock Lesnar be a good Duke Nukem ? I mean, sure, he's more than likely a terrible actor, but he's probably the only human being that has the physical attributes to play him :/

    the man has already been ivan drago, the punisher, he-man... duke nukem sounds like a logical next step.


    he's kinda old though. might work well as an "old snake" type of deal.

    @Lapoisse: Old Dolph Lundgren does sound pretty awesome. He just needs to beef up a little more. He definitely has the hammy acting to pull off the b-grade Duke lines.

    Somebody's just got to pick up Duke Nukem Forever. It wouldn\t be right to just let all that work go down the drain, especially since they were actually nearing completion this time.

    Suuuure. We all know that if they had kept going, they'd decide to make the switch to CryEngine3 and start all over again.


    I don't expect Duke Nukem Forever to ever come out and I'm content with that.

    Now it all makes sense. Broussard saw they were running out of money. So suddenly 3DR starts making a bunch of noise, releasing screenshots and doing media. Trying to raise the game's profile in order to secure another round of funding to keep the company going.


    I've got a gut feeling that all this buzz about DNF coming out this year was just hype for them to keep the shell game going.

    How did they fund 13 years of development in the first place? I don't remember them releasing a stream of games to generate revenue in the meantime.
