I get the feeling the piss poor graphics are the only reason it's not selling well. (Well that and in Japan the DB universe has some pretty iconic characters...which none of these people resemble)

But just judging by screens and vids, it looks like the same DBZ fighting engine with different character models.

I had the severe misfortune to be assigned to the QA process of this piece of crap.

First time in my career I've ever felt... dirty. Like a linguistic prostitute.

To be honest, I've never been a Dragonball fan, and haven't the feintest idea of it's backstory/characters. But even I could tell that something was going horribly wrong here...

    Thank Christ for uncredited involvement.

Actually, the movie wasn't too terrible. I went in wanting a crappy B-movie to laugh my ass off at and it actually wasn't half bad. Nowhere near good, but it made the Legend of Chun Li look like Citizen freakin' Kane.

I saw one of the "fight" scenes between Goku and Master Roshi and let me just say it was awful!.

I was willing to give the film a chance. Sure the actor they cast as Goku looks like a putz and everything seems to be un-Dragonball-ish as they can make it and made it look like any superhero film but there was one glimmer of hope. The fight scenes. Yeah looks like they pretty much ruined it too!

@Grisaille - It's Morphin(e) Time, Mother Fucker!: Well no matter how much the actor loves the source material, it's always the director's discretion and whatnot...

Seems to me they should've left this film to Hong Kong,Japanese film makers at least.

Spirit Bomb! No doubt a friend of mine will get this, just so we can see how terrible it is. We're at least going to see the movie when it's released here. We figure it'll be a "so bad it's good" movie, however still most likely soul-crushing since we were pretty big fans, "back in the day".

Nevermind the blatant copying and pasting of DBZ Budokai 3. Ignore the GTA3 quality graphics. I want to examine the nature of this trailer, and the fact that it simply spouts off words. Random words. Words that can only be tied together by the fact that they are, in fact, parts of the game. But "character" and "gallery" are not exactly the sort of features you'd probably want to put on the back of the box.
