In addition to a Capcom branded Lexon Tykho radio and Jabra Bluetooth headset, the publisher handed out goodies bags that we decided to pass on. Bionic Commando producer Ben Judd was nice enough to give us a handful of Bionic Commando tees as well as some sage advice. Capcom also treated us to some sub machine gun fire at a Las Vegas gun club, complete with Resident Evil zombie targets, the results of which can be seen above.

Meals and drinks were also provided by Capcom. Any questions?

<![CDATA[E For All A Success In Terms of Candy]]> E For All may have been a bit of a dud for the enthusiast press attendee, as I had personally spent time with over 90% of the software on hand at previous events, but in terms of Pac-Man themed candy? E For All was a blockbuster hit. After a harrowing experience at the show's "press hospitality suite" in which I was horrified to discover that not a single bartender or Thai masseuse was on staff, I realized it wasn't a total loss. Pac-man lollipops! Yes, please! I uttered the Kotaku battlecry—"This is a post!"—upon finding these, a welcome, sweet oasis when my bloodsugar was at its lowest. Thank you, Namco Bandai Games, for your fabulous candy on a stick.

<![CDATA[PixelJunk In T-Shirt Form]]> Free clothes! Here's a PixelJunk t-shirt I was given at my visit to Q-Games. The back of the shirt says, well, Q. That logo excitement after the jump. Onwards!

<![CDATA[Black Xbox 360 Controller on Bullet Train Seat]]> Yup, the post title is self-explanatory. That is a black Xbox 360 wireless controller on a bullet train seat. You perhaps have these in other countries, but just not on Japanese high speed train seats. Just look how the black blends into the dark blue velvety seat. Amazing! Microsoft gave those who attended its briefing a free controller. Pink and light blue ones were handed out as well! I didn't get one of those. If I had, I certainly would've given it away in a contest. Shucks!

<![CDATA[Kotaku Swagu: Microsoft Press Goodies]]> I lugged around this box for a good eight hours yesterday. Combined with a MacBook Pro, snacks, a pair of Nintendo handhelds and my tiny frame, it made for a gruelling nerd challenge. I never really paid much attention to it, but random people would come up and ask me, "Did you get a copy of Vista?" After responding with "I dunno!" too many times, I decided to crack it open.

In the interest of full disclosure and satisfying my curiosity, let's see what's inside!

vista_mousepad.jpg

Uh oh. Vista mouse pad? I'm scared to look further.

vista_the_goods.jpg

Huh. Not too bad. That's not a copy of Vista, mind you, merely a Windows Vista Launch Kit CD. But that is a full retail copy of the crtically acclaimed Company of Heroes. Score! Plus, there's a 2GB Sandisk pen drive, a Vista branded pen drive of unspecified capacity, a Belkin Easy Transfer Cable and two cards for free Office Live Basics. That last one is going right in the trash!

At least I'll have plenty of storage space.

Oh, by the way, another pen drive was just brought to my hotel room, courtesy of AMD. These things are worthless!
