Now that's better. I'm glad to see a lot of non-lethal options, as that is something that I've always loved about the series. Sam's so good he doesn't always HAVE to kill. #splintercellconviction
@WonkersWatilla: Maybe he might have to. Who knows? But what's so interesting about being forced to shoot hostages in an airport? #splintercellconviction
@BallPtPenTheif: Ehhhh I see the similarities but I don't think they're the same character archetypes. This Sam Fisher makes MGS4 Snake look like kiiind of a philosophically-waxing pussy, and I say that as a huge fan of Snake. But revenge does have a tendency to make a one more of a bad ass than moral qualms do. #splintercellconviction
@Unfather: Trust me, I am aware of their differences. I was just making a joke about the grizzly voiced badass archetype. You guys are really defensive about your Sam Fishers. #splintercellconviction
@BallPtPenTheif: Don't you EVER mock Sam Fisher again you sonuva bitch!
Kidding of course, and to be fair I could never tolerate enough of the second Splinter Cell to ever pick up any of the others, so I am no kind of Sam Fisher fan.
Pandora is referring to Pandora's box, the treasure that caused strife, or contained evil, or whatnot. In borderlands, i would assume they are referring to the treasure vault, the strife being all the trouble people go through to get to it, or possible strife within the vault. In Avatar, i would assume the beauty of the world, and it's resources as the treasure, and the problems on the planet to be the strife, or whatnot.
I really, really hope this isn't too as heavy as it seems to be whenever I read about it. I have absolutely no interest in playing a 12-hour interactive moral lesson on how Manifest Destiny is a bad philosophy. #avatar
He's made so many great movies, why does this film look so bad?
If Cameron is good at anything is making technologically impressive films with general audience appeal. This has none fo that. the blue cg people look like crap, and the scifi premise seems lame as hell.
I seriously cant stomach all the previews ive seen for it. it just gives me a bad 90s kids film vibe.
Besides Cameron's name, why is this film being pushed so hard? is it based on a book or something? I feel like i just dont "get" this..
@fernandosolano: I was able to see 15 minutes of the film in 3d at the screening they had a couple months ago. I was more impressed with the 3d itself than the content I was viewing.
Hopefully, it will turn for the better and both the game and the film. I have high hopes Cameron!
It could be a pretty game, but it still has the stigma of being a movie game.
I feel that it won't reach the quality of the film. Or any high concepts the film may push.
Just seems like it'll be a very pretty, but overall mediocre TPS. Maybe one for when it gets a bit cheaper, or thrown on with the Blu-Ray at a later date. #avatar
I'm really looking forward to this game, and i'm really happy its set in Italy, since its such a beautiful place. I'm not looking forward to the cheesy italian accents though (just have them speak italian!) and the graphics don't seem to be as nice as the first game (maybe theres been too many nice looking games since then...this isn't as impressive) #assassinscreedii

You're right, Fahey, he is a walking cliche. His actions are rougher than usual, but they don't boil over the edge.
Dammit, I want to see Sam Fisher forced to shoot hostages in an airport. Anything else these days is just boring. #splintercellconviction
