Up from the terrifying depths of 4chan comes this terrific Professor Layton desktop. No don't worry, I didn't sully my hands raking through the 4chan muck. Thankfully the BBPS' Dan Zuccarelli has done all the work so all we have to do is enjoy it. Thanks Dan! Also thanks to the unnamed 4chan poster who create this so we can carry the wonder and magic of St. Mystere with us wherever computers are found.

The Japanese Super Paper Mario website has been slowly releasing some SPM wallpapers for your computer and yesterday, the final one was released. This one features Mr. L and his giant robot, but who could this mysterious Mr. L be? It's a mystery only solved by finishing the game! I won't spoil it by posting that one here, so instead I'll just post my favorite of the bunch. This fan made Maniac Mansion website has a ton of info on what is arguably Lucas Arts' most famous game. There are game details, breakdowns of the characters and items, sound bytes, a walkthrough, scans of the manuals and poster and the pi ce de r sistance, two desktop pics and thirty five icons from the NES version of the game.

Half-Life 2: Episode One Site

The offical Half-Life 2: Episode One site is up, and the latest, greatest official launch date is...June 1! Those of you who had money on May 31 or June 30 can cough up now. The site has screens, a trailer, desktops, everything you need to let your fanboy flag fly. There's also the promise not only of a single-player game, but two multiplayer games. And, as an added bonus, apparently Dog is going to be back. I love Dog. They should make a version of Nintendogs, but with Dog. And less boring. Maybe instead of picking up poop, you crush the Combine into jackbooted pus-piles.
