    Amazon - What's Your Favorite $199 PS3 Bundle?

Which 80GB PlayStation 3 bundle would you buy for $199-$229? Sadly the answer "Any of them" isn't an option here, as Amazon.com wants you to choose between three packages in their annual Amazon Customers Vote holiday spectacular. Here's how it works: vote for the PlayStation 3 package you would prefer to purchase. Voting ends on the 26th. On the 27th, a random selection of users who voted for the winning option will be given a chance to purchase the bundle at the listed price. So basically you have two chances to lose, and a chance in hell to win.

Each bundle contains an 80 PS3, packaged with The Force Unleashed and a Firefly box set, LittleBigPlanet and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, or Far Cry 2 and a James Bond Blu-ray 6-pack, the last one a bit more expensive than the other two. Chances may be slim, but chances are chances!

Valve Complete Pack Contains Left 4 Dead, Everything Else

With the release of Left 4 Dead just around the corner, now would be an excellent to to reacquaint yourself with some of the wonderful games Valve has released in the past. To help you in that endeavor, Valve has released the Valve Complete Pack on Steam, a compilation of everything they've released since the dawn of time. That includes Half-Life in all its many forms, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2 and Classic, Portal, and hell, they've even got Peggle Extreme in there for good measure.

So how much does all of that run? Only $99, and before you pull out your calculators, keep in mind that the package also includes Left 4 Dead itself, so you're basically getting all of the other games for $50 more. That's a savings of $134.82. The only way it isn't a good deal is if you already own all the other games, and that's just crazy.

Tabula Rasa Cheaper Than A Double Cheeseburger

We knows that McDonald's, Wendy's, and other popular fast food restaurants are offering amazing deals on crappy food these days, but how much gaming can you get for a dollar? How about an entire MMO, filled with aliens, and guns, and lasers, complete with a free month of gameplay? Despite NCsoft's plans to tighten up the graphics on level three, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa hasn't done all that well at retail. GameStop.com has stopped selling it, but if you act now you can snag it from Amazon.com for a mere $.96. Note the decimal point there. That's 96 cents. That's extremely sad.

If you do decided to purchase it, I'd opt for the free super saver shipping. They make excellent stocking stuffers.

Hot Topic Slashes Prices On LE Halo 3 Xbox 360

I know what you're thinking - why the hell is Hot Topic selling video game consoles? It doesn't make any sense to me, and it doesn't seem to have made sense to many consumers either, as the trendy in a stupid sort of way retail chain is sitting on a large number of limited edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 consoles, and they're pricing them to move. $199 gets you the special Spartan Green number that completely failed to cause a stir at last year's E3. While it does only come with a 20GB hard disk, that's 20GB more than the comparably priced Arcade system, plus it comes with a play and charge kit and a headset.

Not sure how many of these they have left as of this moment, though I can confirm there is one less than there was when I heard the news. I'm a sucker for limited edition colors, dammit.

    Amazon Gold Boxes Blizzard's Best

As I am writing this I am watching the clock slowly tick down on the Diablo Battlechest for $27.99, wondering whether or not I should just go ahead and make the purchase or spend hours sorting through my collection of over a thousand PC CDs and DVDs, searching for the copies I already own. Today Amazon.com is all about Blizzard's big games, which makes sense considering Blizzard isn't exactly known for their small ones. The Deal of the Day is the World Of Warcraft Battlechest for $26.99, which is nice considering the expansion alone still goes for $30 in most stores.

As of this posting we just missed the Diablo Battlechest, but who wanted to play crappy old Diablo anyway? Everybody? Oh. Whoops. Well now we have The Burning Crusade expansion for WoW for , followed by what? The Frozen Throne expansion to Warcraft III by itself and then the Warcraft III Battlechest? Left up to me it would have been The Lost Vikings all day long, with an ever-rising price to punish latecomers for their lack of urgency.

Pizza Hut Makes Your Gamer Fantasies Come True

Pizza Hut has been taking care of lazy gamers for decades now, and they see no reason to stop now. Along with a free 30-day trial of game rental service GameFly, every time you order a pizza from Pizza Hut Online from now until July 26th you are automatically entered to win the Gamer's Fantasy Package, containing over $10,000 worth of gaming goodness. Along with a Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and a PlayStation 3, the package also contains a 60 inch plasma television, a set of 3 seat-curved home theater seating from Berkline, a Bose home theater system, a popcorn maker, and a year subscription to GameFly.

All that, plus a year's worth of pizza. I know. I too was pretty 'meh' until that last bit. There are also several consolation prizes involving GameFly memberships, but in the face of the massive Grand Prize these are laughable at best. Hit the jump for the full details on the prizes while I start clearing some kitchen space for pizza boxes. More »

Amazon Gold Box Filled With 360 Games

Amazon once again maps out an entire day of gaming deals, this time around giving the Xbox 360 fans a little bit of of the love they've been reserving for Nintendo gamers lately. Today kicks off with the Deal of the Day, which is the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition for only $39.99, a damn fine price for those couple of guys who don't already own it.

Meanwhile the Gold Box deals have kicked off with Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for $29.99, which is going pretty fast, to be followed up with Scene-It at 10 Pacific, possibly Madden at 2, and possibly Frontlines: Fuel of War at 6.

The fact that Amazon keeps cranking these video game day deals out means that the gamer response has been overwhelming, so as long as we keep buying they'll keep discounting until we form a giant, writhing, perpetual sale engine, which sounds terribly sticky.

Amazon Rhythm Game Deals - GHIII $59.99

If you keep buying them, Amazon will keep posting them! Today Amazon is getting their groove on with deals on games involving dance and rhythm. The Deal of the Day? They've got the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock bundle on all systems for only $59.99 ($49.99 PS2), which is like getting the game and a free guitar...sort of.

Along with the Deal of the Day they are also holding Gold Box deals on games throughout the day, with the first - Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party for the Wii at $49.99 just about gone as I write this. The next deal starts at 10AM Pacific and looks to be Rock Band, with the remaining two consisting of a Singstar title, and possibly one of those trays for cooking bacon in the microwave. Remember my guessing problem?

Bass Pro Shops Wants Your Video Games

Finally a way to get rid of all these damned Burger King Xbox 360 games I have laying around! The folks at Bass Pro Shops want your video games, and the trade-in value could be better than GameStop, depending on what you use it for.

Calling it their "Get Off The Couch & Go Outdoors" offer, from May 21st though the 26th you can trade in an old video game for 15% off Bass Pro Shops branded merchandise across several categories. I particularly like the generic, photoshopped Xbox game case, and the fact that they chose to portray a more active watersport than fishing, which is pretty much just sitting on your ass drinking beer in a different place than when you are gaming. The "Sit Somewhere Else" offer just wouldn't have had the same ring to it.

I'm not sure what they'll be doing with the games, but I'm getting a lovely mental image of the ape scene from 2001.

Update: Just got this from Bass Pro Shops PR: "The donated games will all be going to Get Well Gamers (http://getwellgamers.org/index.php) for redistribution among their network of hospitals. M rated games will find their way to troops overseas through GWG's partnership with Fun for Our Troops (http://www.funforourtroops.org/)." I'm going to go feel really, really bad now.

WalMart Holiday Clearance - 2000 Wii Points For $15

I was at my local WalMart last night due to a last minute birthday gift card from my sister, and noticed some interesting discounts in the video game aisle pertaining to Nintendo fans. Remember around Christmas when Wal-Mart stores were filled with Wii and DS holiday merchandise? Well many of them still are, and that crap has to go. Now these bargains might not be available at every store - I've seen them at two now so far - but the chance to get a 2000 point Wii Points card bundled with a crappy classic controller sleeve for only $15 is worth looking into, especially with the recent launch of WiiWare.

Other deals I saw included the DS lite starter kits with some kind of system cover and your choice of games (Elite Beat Agents, Polarium, or True Swing Golf) discounted to $9, and the Nintendo Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training at an extremely respectable $12.
