Or maybe the price.

We've mentioned it before, but now it's finally hitting store shelves, and we've got packaging images. While we still haven't received the definitive Jedi lightsaber battling game for the Nintendo Wii, Power A brings us what could be the next best thing. The original dark lord of the Sith extends his weapon in a challenge to all that would have their motion tracked. The fully-licensed Vader bust has a slot that fits your standard, first-party Wii sensor bar, filling a hole in your entertainment center that you never knew existed.

The Darth Vader Wii Sensor Bar holder should be available at Amazon.com and Toys R Us locations across the country. There is, unfortunately, much fear in the price. $39.99 is a bit steep for a thing that holds another, more important thing, even if it does look rather cool.

<![CDATA[(RIP Soul Calibur: 1998-2008) Yoda, Vader Make SCIV Cover]]> First Guitar Hero kicks the bucket, now this... Soul Calibur IV has been dated and priced for Japan. That's good news! The game will be released on July 31st for ¥7,800 (US$73). Above is the official Japanese box art for the game, box art that features Darth Vader for the PS3 version. Yoda is on the Xbox 360 version's cover. That's, well, not such good news. By putting these iconic Star Wars characters on the box doesn't it make Soul Calibur IV seem less like a Soul Calibur game and more like a Star Wars game? Yes, yes it does. You had a good run SC. Gonna miss ya.

Hit the jump for Yoda and try not to wonder why the Lightsabers aren't slicing through the swords!

<![CDATA[A Trip To Lucas Arts Studios]]> At last week's GDC I had the opportunity to go out to Lucas Arts studios to check out a few of their upcoming games including Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, LEGO Indiana Jones and their new IP Fracture. Lucas arts is somewhere I've been wanting to see for quite some time and luckily I was able to snap of a few pics before they hustled us into the theater to watch the demos. I didn't get as many as I would like, but I at least got the Star Wars items that were placed around the bookshelf lined lobby. There were large, luridly colored old horror movie posters and a large statue dedicated to the creator of King Kong, Willis O'Brien. These, unfortunately, I didn't have time to take any photos of as our time in the reception lobby was rather brief, but I did manage to get a great shot of the Yoda fountain out front (above) and the actual costumes for Darth Vader and Boba Fett, which you can see after the jump. If I ever get the chance to get out there again, I'll be sure to hide in the bathroom so I can sneak out and document the whole place before I get dragged away kicking and screaming by the Imperial Guards.
