Remember that one? Heard word of it back around 2004 and then nary a peep for four years, but now there's word that it might actually happen, just not as a stand-alone game.

ComputerAndVideoGames.com talked to GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi, who said there's hope that GT for Boys will be a feature within Gran Turismo 5. The point of a "for Boys" GT would be to give younger kids — and spazzy adults — a pick-up-and-play version of GT, without the unforgiving realism of the original.

Yamauchi's comment came in a broader interview with CVG about GT5.

Question: Can girls play too? Just askin' ...

<![CDATA[ Itagaki Says You'll Be Surprised At How Wonderful, Innovative Ninja Gaiden DS Is ]]> Tomonobu Itagaki sat down with the crew at CVG to talk all things Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS, but he seemed to keep harping on how totally badassical and ultra killer it's going to be.

In explaining the best stylus controls ever, Itagaki says we won't know how completely mind-blowing they are until we see them in their heavenly glory. Fortunately, he's here to help!

I plan to have footage of the actual game being played available to view on the Internet in the near future. My reasoning for this is that, because the controls in this game are so innovative, watching someone play this game is the only way to realistically understand how wonderful it is.

I personally look forward to trying out Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword's "immensely intuitive" tap-and-draw control scheme, which the Ninja Gaiden creator says we can expect to hit in the fall. Fortunately, for the ninja dogs who aren't that hardcore, the game will have a lower difficulty than previous Ninja Gaiden games. It's just all coming together so swimmingly!

<![CDATA[ Fallout 3, Love It or Hate It - You Decide! ]]> THE GAMEExpectations for the third proper Fallout game are high and Bethesda knows that. Formerly in development at the now bankrupt Interplay, the post-apocalyptic RPG rights were snapped up by the Elder Scrolls creators who acknowledge that some folks just plain ain't gonna like the direction in which they're going.

Bethesda's Pete Hines told UK mag PC Zone that, despite being Fallout fans themselves:

Not everybody is going to agree with the game we're making: it's a solid-gold lock... some folks just aren't going to give it a chance out of the box.

Wait. Gamers being fickle? Impossible! At least Hines knows that not everyone can be satisfied all the time, especially a bunch of hyper-critical RPG fans. They're an ornery bunch. Hell, even Hines took time to dig at Fallout spin-off Brotherhood of Steel. He can take and give, just like the rest of the armchair designers.

<![CDATA[ CVG's Best Game Endings Ever ]]> Following up on their list of "The Worst Game Endings Ever", Computer and Video Games has put together their picks for the best endings. The eight game list is populated with hits like Halo, Final Fantasy VII, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and my personal favorite, the dog ending from Silent Hill 2. Each entry is accompanied by a short explanation of exactly why it's so great.

The author encourages us to agree or disagree with their choices in the comments section, so rise up, Kotakuites, and make your way to CVG and let them know exactly what you think of their list. Then come on back here and tell us what your pick would be as I'm sure you will all have your own opinions on the subject.

As always when commenting, remember the three P's. Politeness, Propriety and Penmanship. These are the cornerstones of the Kotaku commenter.

Featuring a blend of role-playing, shooting, driving and strategy, the cell-shaded, off-hue (in the style of Metal Gear Acid 2), supercop-versus-gangs game is looking better and better.

Six new screens show off the graphical style and Crackdown creator David Jones' gives insight into the games unique Xbox Live acheivements, including the "Keep a corpse in the air with a rocket launcher" endurance contest.
