Prototype Gets Comic Treatment

DC Comics and Sierra Entertainment are teaming up to bring yet another video game property to the small, papered, non-screen, as the two companies sign a deal to create a comic book series based on the upcoming open-world action game Prototype. Why Prototype? Says Hank Kanalz, VP & General Manager of DC's WildStorm imprint:
"PROTOTYPE's back-story, visuals and gameplay are stunning, and we have every intention of bringing those core pillars to our book because this is a great opportunity to expand on the world they've created, and build something new and interesting for comic book fans."
WildStorm has done one hell of a fine job with their World of Warcraft comic book, showing an amazing dedication to the source material, so hopefully they'll be able to faithfully capture that Prototype vibe, whatever that vibe winds up being. More »

Star Trek: The Next Rock Band

Devoted reader Ryan, also known as King Cutch the First: Sovereign of the Pumpkin Empire, for some reason felt the need to mention that he and his friends are huge Star Trek geeks when he submitted this video of the all Star Trek: The Next Generation Rock Band, The Ready Room. This is actually very nicely done, and it may have just rekindled a secret crush from my past. Wesley's mom has got it goin' on. Rawr.

You Got Iron Mans In My Incredible Hulk

This interesting bit of concept art for Sega's The Incredible Hulk game just showed in my mailbox today. What do you suppose it means? You don't think that Hulkbuster Iron Man could make a cameo appearance in the game, do you? Probably just a coincidence. I mean, the Hulkbuster armor is appearing in the Iron Man game, so they're probably just using leftover artwork or something.

OMG Iron Man in the Hulk game!
