    Great i hope people don't dismiss it just because of the graphics.


    Most of the reviews out there are only made by people who played the game for a couple of hours and then brush it aside the game is simple but solid with great depth so i hope people give it a shot.

    We still have Versus, I guess. For now. If only we could get all those crappy RPGs and Lost Odyssey from the 360 to completely even things out (since we already got vesperia and Eternal Sonata)... Of course, PS3 has a crapload of exclusive Japan-only RPGs coming out this year and next, but... They're japan only, so it doesn't affect those of use not in japan, unless they can speak Japanese and don't mind importing... Not only speak, but READ... And good luck Reading Kanji at HD sized print...

    @bobtheduck: This game is not worth sighing about. Also, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are made by Microsoft 2nd or 1st party, so it isn't ever going to happen. Both games are heavily flawed (like Vesperia and Eternal Sonata!), but do redeem themselves, mostly by appealing to nostalgia - stuff like World Maps, FF5-alike Job systems, FF8-alike timed trigger attacks, etc etc. But yeah, they're not worth losing sleep over. Not like Versus.

    @Pombar: Mistwalker is 3rd party. They just received heavy money from Microsoft who wanted to be Big in Japan.


    bobtheduck has a valid point. We haven't really gotten ANY jrpgs to the PS3 and not even one exclusive.

    @ShadowOdin isn't american: Nonetheless, Microsoft published both BD and LO, and most likely retains these publishing rights. It's not going to happen.


    Didn't you lot get Folklore, Demon's Crest and Valkyria Chronicles? Plus, you know the next big Shin Megami Tensei game is going to be PS3. Count on it.

    @bobtheduck: I don't think Dragon Quest 6 will be called Dragon Warrior 6 if they do get around to remaking it. Just somehow, I think they'll be consistent.

    I have a hard time believing NIS America will change anything.

    As much as I wish for them to reach the quality of say Atlus I just really dont believe they will change anything.

    Meh them getting to localize Sakura Wars makes me fear for the worst.

    We REALLY don't know enough about Last Rebellion to rip on it yet for anything aside from the graphics. At least it's a new IP instead of a silly crossover cash-in like Cross Edge.


    I can at least see Last Rebellion being worth playing because they're trying something new. Cross Edge seems to be tailor-made for otaku and nobody else.

    I'm thinking about buying a PSP for Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This?, Rock Band PSP and Patapon 2 among others.


    I already own GOW: COO because it was about ten dollars on Amazon so I thought it would be a good investment.


    Are there any thoughts on the PSP or any other game recommendations from my fellow Kotakuites if I do indeed pick up a PSP?

    Crisis Core and Dissidia. Absolutely. Also Final Fantasy Tactics. Guilty Gear Judgment is also 5 dollars as a downloadable PSP game on PSN, and it comes with a free copy of Guilty Gear XX.
