What? We crashed another website? Considering it usually happens only when there's cleavage involved, this means that Maggie's sackboys are officially better than sex.
Maybe Kotaku should hand out a Seal Of Approval that these poor websites could display on their front page: "Kotaku crashed my server and all I got was this lousy banner."
Well dang, I was all set to knit these but I do think the tighter crochet work looks better. *sigh* I hate crochet. Every time I aim for a rectangle I end up with a wad of yarn that looks like a lettuce.
Hey folks...sorry my site is down. I don't think my Dreamhost server was set up for a Kotaku invasion. You can email me at causticmuse AT gmail.com if you are interested in a doll.
I didn't really like LBP. I found it to be one of those critical darlings that the press gushes about, but doesn't really live up to the hype. But I must say that those dolls are really cool. They did a great job creating a lovable lead character.
@jjammerzs: that would look horribly deformed, but a cool concept nonetheless. it would need to be made out of metal. and when it's done, wouldnt resemble sackboy at all.
Yeah, "regret" isn't the term I'd use for a successful business venture. I MIGHT use that term if a Media Molecule-retained attorney showed up at my business venture, though.
@perfectoon_0901: Well, she's not really paying herself much. $30 for a sackboy that takes 4 hours to complete? I hope she's highballing that time estimate by a lot, because that's less than minimum wage some places (state, not federal).
@ludwigk: That may be the case, but she's "profiting" off of someone elses IP. And as we've already seen in LittleBigCyberspace, thats a big no-no!
Although I sure hope the lawyers bugger off...I mean, there has been repeated request for MM to sell or at least license some of these touys. It's their OWN fault!
@joe: Oh god, I gotta get my significant other on this! ;) I've always told him I wanted a Sackboy doll. Heh heh. Am I boring for just wanting the plain one?

The stuff she's making are damn nice...I would want a Megaman or Batman one...

There's not enough yarn in the world to recreate that hair.

Yeah, but using actual Crecente hair would make it a voodoo doll. That would make for some awkward posts...
