The latest? Apparently an email has come down informing store managers to pull down any signage regarding the Xbox 360 core system, because once their current stock is gone there isn't going to be anymore. Seems like stores are preparing for the rumored new Core system, that comes with the 256MB memory card and wireless controllers. There are rumors upon rumors, but this one rings true.

<![CDATA[$100 Xbox 360 Confirmed (Pretty Much)]]> Remember that $100 Xbox 360 Core System rumor I posted? Remember that all Microsoft-based rumors are true?

Amazon is running a special weekly promotion, for the next four weeks, in which they'll sell one hot item at a very low price. But here's the rub, that item must be voted on by Amazon customers. This week, it's Xbox 360 vs. Amazon Prime membership vs. Mongoose mountain bike vs. Barbie. Clearly, the Xbox 360 is going to win, as it has an 85% share of the votes at time of publish.

Customers can buy the cheap ass Xbox next Thursday starting at 11 AM PST. Amazon even has some handy buying tips to help improve your odds. Good luck! You'll need it.
