It's funny how porn actresses essentially describe their looks and professional behavior as their in-game character ("I'd be one of the whores getting screwed in Grand Theft Auto" "Super, super slutty. I'd be a hot little game girl, and I'd hit people with my boobs. They're big.") And, conversely, gamer guys asked what they'd be in a game would more likely than not describe not themselves, but a porn actress (sexy, slutty, big boobs -- think Lara Croft). What does this all mean? Secretly, deep down, every grown human being on the planet wants to be a female porn star.

@Sloopydrew: I think it depends on who you are talking to within the industry (or any), since many like to "self-promote" themselves to stay relevant within said industry.

Interestingly enough, if you talk to a pornstar candidly (without press), you might get some different answers. The same applies to entertainers of the other categories.

Example:
Action Hero X (in front of press): I want to be a Golem, so I can smash the hell out of everything?

Action Hero X (candidly, no press): I wanna ride a pony.

Know what I mean?

I personally find it interesting that the adult film entertainment stars are opening up more towards their subcultural tastes, and one of those of course being videogaming. As we get older, the adult film entertainers get younger, and with that, chances are that they are more apt to playing video games, pinball tables, and other forms of "interactive entertainment" (pardon the pun, there.)

Unlike the days of Sharon Mitchell's days on film, the console industry is a more active industry, and since the adult film entertainment industry has been more accepted by mainstream audiences, the men and women of the industry are perhaps more open to exposing some of their hobbies and interests not involving the bedroom.

People like "Jenna Haze", being a huge gamer, or "Lexi Belle" being a hugely professed "Star Wars Geek", give you an idea that just because someone does something pandering and titilating (again, pardon the pun), doesn't mean that they can't enjoy some guilty pleasures that many of us already do. (yet again, pardon said pun...)

When we get past the "tit-smack" commentary, it's good to see that adult film entertainers (among others) are able to stake their claim among the gaming crowd. And you never know: The very same adult film entertainers may be reading your commentary, and posting some of their own.

I am a porn star. It's funny no one has ever picked up on my user name. I don't want to do it for the rest of my life though, its just easy,fun money whilst I'm studying a computer game programming degree. There aren't THAT many male porn stars who work regularly in the uk, so if you're reliable you can accept work from time to time, and get something like £200 on average for a 4-5 hour shoot.

Currently, I'm playing through Yoshi's Island for the first time via a reccomendation from a friend. It's beyond awesome. I'm also looking to pick up Kirby's Dream Course via the virtual console, after Miyamoto name dropping it in the Zeruda no bideo documentary.

They should keep me going until SF4 and RE 5.

@IanC: I heard about that. I can't comment, thankfully I live at home with my parents so I'm not desperate for cash I just need money to help me pay my uni fees and run my car.

Although the downsides to being a male performer- you have to get over any attraction issues with the girl you're working with. So if you don't think she's very good looking nor sexy, tough. Get it up.

Also you will have to do things that you may not enjoy, not all us male stars enjoy giving a girl the business 'up the khyber passage', if you know what I mean.

Also you will have to work for 4-5 hours straight and 'perform' every time.
