Cooking Mama Kills Animals - Happy Thanksgiving From PETA |

I'm actually glad PETA exists. More meat for the rest of us, while those idiots chow down on fiber and wheat germ.

On the other hand, it's a reminder of the time my ex-wife brought home a turkey after hitting it with the car. Imagine my surprise when fishing for a bean burrito in my freezer and finding a big, dead, road-rashed bird instead. Yeah, she was pretty red-neck, but I went along with it (these were my poor, starving private days). It wasn't quite as gross as depicted in the merry little game above but let me tell you, plucking and gutting a turkey from scratch is not fun, especially when you have no idea what in the hell you're doing. How far from the butt-hole is safe to start cutting? Little tip, watch out for that sack full of grass hoppers. Not the most appetizing aroma. 'Nother lil' tip, apparently you're suppose to boil the turkey before you pluck it (thanks PeTA, now I know for next time). Not as easy when it's still frozen. All said and done, we ate the thing anyways... even burned it a little on accident. Thank goodness for that backup turkey we got from the store though.
The other thing about this is that it really borders the line between parody and theft. I can't see how Majesco could sit well with this blatant use of their IP, logo and even having their name associated with it. Not unless they have a really good sense of humor.
Would it be hypocritical of me to congratulate PeTA on the production of a fun, quality flash program, yet still want to see Majesco lay the smack down on them with the wrath of a thousand blood thirsty lawyers? Are PeTA lawyers allowed to be blood thirsty? Is it wrong to eat a turkey sandwich while watching the video at the end? Did you also know that those turkeys are genetically bred to be too fat to breed? Know how they get new turkeys? Google it and wonder about that job. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

-The FDA might want to contact PETA about their site teaching people the wrong way to prepare a turkey. That could be dangerous.
-This is amazingly fun. I may buy cooking mama based on how much I enjoyed this.
-No one keeps a turkey as a pet, PETA. Stop kidding yourself.

Till it got fat.
Then I'd start basting it and defeathering it.
Then gut it out.
Season it more.
Put it in the oven.
And then remember said pet while eating it, while watching the Thanksgiving Football game on TV!
That was a good pet.

Inb4 "religion," "politicians," etc. That's a debate for another time.

That's why I like PETA, though. They're out for a good cause, but they know it's completely impossible to change the way things are.. so they just troll us all. It's frequently good for lols, like this. :)
Someday I hope to become a billionare and donate millions to PETA, while I sit in my mansion eating pork chops and laughing at you all.

My personal thoughts: Meh, it's no different from buy said dead tasty animals when I go to the store, or restaurant. I wonder how many people at the mall gets tarred and feathered for eating at the food court? I also wonder how many featherers and red painters frequent the fast food chains?

Screech at people about doing what seems completely normal to them until they've completely tuned the idea of even caring out? Refusing to have a sane, rational conversation with people who are only doing what they learned from their parents, who learned from their parents, backward into infinity?

Unlike a majority of you, they at least believe in something and fight for it. Yes, like I said before, they're a bit radical, but what do you fight for? The latest in HD technology? Latest game? Flame wars online? While you (and I guess myself right now) sit at your desk and read irrelevant news, they actually go out and do something for a cause. Maybe you should try the same.

"they at least believe in something and fight for it"
Since when did bullshit activism become the barometer to gauge what you're doing with your life? Most people have the intelligence to have beliefs that don't need "fighting for".
