So I've been browsing the new layout for the day and I'm still getting used to a lot of the new stuff.
But something doesn't seem clear to me, maybe I just didn't read the FAQ enough times. I can't seem to find a more streamlined way of seeing replies to my comments unless I either:
1) refresh the page and find my own comment
2) go through my profile page individually.
So I leave it to the forum i its infinite wisdom. Did I miss something or am I going about this the right way?
I think for some reason/bug it only applies to replies from star commenters. Then they show up as replies at the top of the page or something. Don't know the detail because I haven't had any yet. #talkamongstyourselves
@phisheep: I see, while that's nice while your browsing away you can come back to it.
But if it IS a bug for the moment, which I can understand, then I think all responses should get the same treatment. With that I'd be way more inclined to leave comments and continue meaningful discussions even on posts that fell under the days posts.
Supposedly, Editors can promote 'off-topic chats in random tags' to front-page postdom should they be on-topic and otherwise worthy of such promotion. #talkamongstyourselves

(PS - the tags are so slow to update that holding a conversation will be like playing email chess)
I'm not being dismissive of the new features, I just don't understand the advertised impact...
Is there a place that users can actually post articles now? [kotaku.com]
