The only reason I can imagine for such a grievous oversight is the fact that he didn't actually voice Ezio in Assassin's Creed II. Other than that, his performance is flawless.

Thanks David for passing along the clip!

<![CDATA[Conan O'Brien Leaks Tiger Woods PGA Update]]> Tiger Woods status as EA Sports' top golf pitchman is probably safe. In fact, his "personal failings' might be grist for a new direction in his namesake video game, as Conan O'Brien (or his writers) shows.

You have to go through about a minute of this video to get to the germane portion. In all, it's a nice use of Grand Theft Auto IV, but what's up with the its-a-me-Mario voice? Elin Nordegren is a woman and a Swede, not an Italian dude.

<![CDATA[You've Got Segata Sanshiro In My Conan O'Brien]]> Segata Sanshiro was the judo master used to promote the SEGA Saturn in Japan and a parody of Akira Kurosawa's Sanshiro Sugata. The character has found a new life on America late night TV.

An ad for Sakura Taisen 2 has been repurposed by television host Conan O'Brien. Watch the original ad here and the compare below:

<![CDATA[Conan O'Brien Gets Topical with Video Game Sales, Bombs]]> Were it me, I might have made a crack about a pencil-cup peripheral. As it is, Wii isn't the best motion control for job interviews. Natal would offer a more immersive groveling experience.

<![CDATA[Conan O'Brien Comments On Super Mario Bros. Set]]> Tonight on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, Conan O'Brien addressed the Photoshop that's been flying around the internet that show similarities between his show's backdrop and Mario Bros. What's his response?

According to Conan, "There's no way you could ever see Super Mario Bros. in this set." Even if it was accidental or planned or whatever, Nintendo thinks it's "great".

<![CDATA[Nintendo Thinks Conan O'Brien Mario Homage Is "Great"]]> Now that we've seen how Super Mario World's level design has helped shape Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show backdrop, we had to get Nintendo's reaction. We did.

"That's great," Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said as he looked at it for the first time during his interview with Kotaku.

"We know that he is a fan of what we do, and we're thrilled to have him as a passionate Nintendo fan. Maybe we'll have to go play some Wii Sports Resort as well as Super Mario Bros Wii."

So, no cease and desist, Reggie?

"No. For Conan, we'll let that one slide."

<![CDATA[Conan Drills Deeper Into GTA IV's Kinder, Gentler Side... Again]]> Late Night with Conan O'Brien is certainly getting some mileage out of its "Gentler Side of Grand Theft Auto IV" shtick. This one's more of a B-sides than a Best Of—his earlier effort was much much better—but that doesn't mean it's not worth watching. (Glad someone else noticed that Niko is partial to checking out his ass in jeans.) We're just thrilled Conan and crew are educating the public about the nice things one can do while in Liberty City.

<![CDATA[Conan Drills Deeper Into GTA IV's Kinder, Gentler Side]]> As Late Night host Conan O'Brien has already pointed out, Grand Theft Auto IV has a gentler side. Not really, but it's a good gag and we like Conan so much that we're more than happy to retread the territory with him. Today's helping of gentle GTA touches on some of the game's lesser known features, including recycling, co-ed softball and having "the talk" with teenagers. It's worth a "tee hee" or two.
