...is the comment I would have loved to make but Stephen took that one little joy from me :(
What I don't understand (or rather annoys) about GTA:CTW is that it's done in the spirit of the original game but since I'm a console gamer, I may not get to play this and the chances of it making a pilgrimage back to consoles (PSN, XBLA, Wiiware...) are probably slim :(

1: Go to McDonald's or just about any public library and connect through their wireless network for free.
2: Get a NiWiFi adapter and just turn it on whenever you want to sync up a DS game. You can even keep the connection window open to see what devices are connected or attempting to connect through your NiWiFi network. And as long as the computer it's plugged into has a valid connection, it doesn't matter what crazy security you have set up on it, or what speed your network is running at (note that the DS cannot connect to a network that's only running at wireless-G or higher speeds).
