Red Alert 3's Cocktail Menu

Set up outside the Spore and Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 viewing rooms at Electronic Art's pre-E3 event last week was a little red bar complete with Russian beers, lots of vodka and this drink list. Unfortunately, the list didn't include the ingredients for the all-crimson drinks.

We've been hearing rumblings about this for a couple of days now, but now Eurogamer has received official word from EA that production on the PlayStation 3 version of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 has come to a halt. While EA could confirm that the development of the PS3 version had ceased, they could not reveal the reason for the stoppage, nor discuss whether or not this was a temporary decision. Very, very curious indeed.

The move isn't without its benefits, however, as PC and Xbox 360 development is being bolstered by newly freed resources. You can look forward to seeing C&C Red Alert 3 on those platforms this Autumn. We'll keep you in the loop should further developments unfold for the PS3 version.

Red Alert 3 Features Woman Who Could Easily Kill You

Help me please. I am not sure if I am supposed to be excited by EliteXC fighter and American Gladiator Gina Carano, dressed up to portray deadly Soviet commando Natasha (because they only have one girl's name in the Soviet Union) in Command & Conquer Red Alert 3. On the one hand, she really is doing amazing things to that tight shorts and tiny jacket ensemble, and the gun adds a certain something. She is rather pretty and well-spoken for someone who beats up other people for a living. On the other hand, she beats up other people for a living and could probably kill me with an errant thought, or hell, even on accident, like some terrifying all grown-up Elmira from Tiny Toons, hugging and squeezing me until I die. Phew, nevermind. Invoking Tiny Toons always cancels out any excitement...well, unless we're talking mink. More »

EA Officially Alerts Us To Red Alert 3

And thus with a special edition of the Command & Conquer Battlecast, EA officially announces Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, a game many of us have been waiting seven years for. This installment sees the Soviet Union going back in time to try and change history in their favor, resulting in an alternate time line where World War III is raging between the Soviets, the Allies, and the new Empire of the Rising Sun faction. Expect over the top technology to be the norm, with "Tesla Coils, transforming tanks, war blimps, and armored bears. Armored bears? Yes! The game will also feature a first for the RTS genre - a fully co-op story campaign. Definitely worth the wait! In an effort to protect his basketball court from Allied influences, Command & Conquer: Red Alert enthusiast Peter has focused his Tesla coil building expertise toward this Red Alert-style defensive tower. Not content to simply construct a real-life version of the structure from the ultra-popular real-time strategy game, Peter went the extra mile. He fashioned a squad of units—mostly from wood, cloth and wire frames—from the game, including a Tesla Trooper, Engineer and Conscript, through which he funnels thousands of volts of electricity. Let's give it up for science.
