But to answer your question, I'll throw down money for this generations games.
But for the really really really old stuff? Not so much.

I couldn't resist any longer.

...except on Pimp My Ride, the show paid for the cool stuff, not the hapless subscriber...

Whos gonna pay 400 points for the both system download?
I mean, unless they're going to let achievements stack. Then MS might be onto something devious.

Some do. Fallout 3 does, for example.
@Kobun:
I'd pay 3 bucks for a copy of MULE.

Or Archon.

It isn't at launch, but it says its going to allow you to trade off with a friend over live, using lives, later down the road.
I could see that ability easily incorporated into MULE, and it puts a smile on my face to know that you know of this game.

Why have this when you have a touchscreen? For one, the touch screen has a limited size, whereas a motion sensor would allow for much more range.

This sounds like the opposite of fun to me, and I'll pass.

Also, let me get online with an online connection with a normal security set-up like every other WiFi device I've ever used (laptop, PSP, Wii, PS3, iPod Touch, etc). The DS has the worst online set-up I've ever seen with as many online games as it currently offers.

Do I really have to fork over the $100?

From seeing what the Zune HD is capable of with an older Tegra, I can only image how much better games will look.
Also, you only want 1 GB of internal storage? Thats not much at all, considering how much bigger games will likely become. I would say at least 4GB, but 8 would be nice.

I love the fact that this game rewarded me for thinking creatively, after my brute force attempts at shooting down all the fighter planes failed.
I wish more games forced me to think, rather than simply mash the A button over and over again (I'm looking at you, DQ)

After landing my helicopter cage around the statue, I climbed up a series of platforms around the cage's perimeter to get to a cannonade at the top of the towering vehicle (which I could also catapult myself to directly out of the pilot's seat with an ejector mechanism), at which point I would shoot down the nearest planes to approach my ward.

Removal of platforming elements be damned.

Nice strategy! I hadn't thought of just putting a case around it.
The fact that you can link to your creation here is yet another thing I really liked about this game. Perhaps when I get home tonight I'll link to mine here as well. :)

Quote: "But that also means kills also do not count toward your in-game challenges (which pay out experience at milestones) and that's a real pisser to discover."
Untrue, I have completed 4 challenges all related to killing. Action Skill challenge, Critical Hit, Kills with Shotgun and Sniper Rifle.
So this game mode is a really good way to complete Weapon challenges.

I think Mad Moxxis is Gearbox's response to people who were saying there's no "end game" (huh??? isn't this a FPS shooter with rpg elements?) and this gives people something to do endlessly once they hit level 50.
