Friend, I've studied abroad in Japan, and Nomura looks girly even by Japanese fashion standards.
Which is weird, because he used to look like a normal Japanese sarariman last time I saw a pic of him in early '00s. The change is quite shocking.

Seriously if they do a remake, nobody will be satisfied. Wether its "his voice is supposed to be like this", or its "this is too much like that." Or better "I hate this game because they didn't keep the line "This guy are sick!" I think its never going to be as special the second time around. Plus they might have to update the battle system because its fairly old and gamers have changed. I dunno I guess I want to keep the classics sacred.

Fuck everyone else, I'm realistic, I know SE will make the game to cater the newer FFVII fans (No, there IS a difference...trust me.). The new ones that jumped in on CC and AC. I don't care. I just want Cloud in 1080p.

Then once the game is remade, then SE can sorta move on. I know they won't stop making FFVII spinoff abortions because VII makes them mad ass cash....but at LEAST the calls for a remake will be over.

I love the game, the series, everything...but it seriously NEEDS TO DIE!

It's too bad the remake will probably picked apart piece by piece by all the fanboys (you included?) and be done to satisfy the people who came in through AC and the Compilation thing...
But that doesn't matter, as long as we get to see Cloud again in glorious PS3 technicolor!
And then hopefully Square will be finally be able to move on.

LOL! Actually after the bastardization of the story done through Dirge, I can bend a bit...Dirge is like the blacksheep of the Compilation.
I really wouldn't nitpick too badly, I know somethings will have to be changed, some for the better while others for not...so better. I just want the core of the story to remain the same, everything else...I can tolerate.
Yeah, Wada...well, he sees it as the cashcow and it is. But Kitase wants a remake, the ENTIRE team of XIII want a remake...I don't think Nomura wants one...but he frankly has no say.
All SE has to do is announce a KH3 and VII combo...that's all and they are guaranteed cash for like...ever.

Oh yeah, Dissidia. Haha, that game was enjoyable to play, at least.
I'm just hoping they don't introduce any more WTF-plotline sideends that lead nowhere and never get resolved, cliffhanger style...
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Squeenix fonalli releases it 2030... by then, my kids shall be able to enjoy the glory of FF7 that we got many moons ago...
And I will cry, knowing that I can no longer see or play due to some glaucoma and dev'd arthritis by then. ;_;

Seriously, the two games are the remaining two Fabula Nova Crystalis projects, as Square Enix had originally revealed in their PowerPoint presentation that there wrere three mystery FFXIII spin-offs in addition to Versus and Agito (one of them being Haeresis which leaked a while ago).

If you can't tell the difference between men and women then that's a fault with your ability to recognize male and female traits. Even FF characters are predominently one way and easy to tell apart, anime traps are difficult, not FF characters or Nomura.

It's cool to bash Nomura because Amano had way more 'Masculine' designs, y'know with his same faces, beads, scarfs and stripes...and it's cool to think Japanese men look like women based on all the Jrpgs and Jrockers.

I wonder what system it will be for. I know that he is vehemently against the 360 and the PS3 got a major jump in sales everywhere in the world, but Squenix may choose to port it based on how much they make on the 360 vrs of XIII.
Nomura probably won't work a 360 port himself so SE will probably have to pull a Bayonetta for a 360 port.
Another thing to consider is that he may use PS3 exclusive features like SIXAXIS motion.
In any case I'd like KHIII to come out as soon as possible, without any delays whatsoever, if you catch my drift.

Then again, it doesn't say it anywhere here o_O? This isn't Mistwalker, Tetsuya's under Squenix just about solely (although Sakaguchi has been having a lot of casual meetings and drinks with the squenix old guard lately, so you never know. I think Tetsuya's new guard so prolly doesn't count him).
I only had that feeling when I saw that artwork of the guy in the heavy plate and dragon armor and thought he was Kaim's future son or sth.

In what capacity? I don't remember him being mentioned at all in doing any thing for Lost Odyssey.
Character art was done by the mangaka of Slam Dunk. Nobou did the music of course, and Sakaguchi wrote and handled the main story...

It's given that KHIII will go on PS3, but with all the stuff Square Enix has been/is going to be putting on both consoles, there's actually hope that KHIII will be on the 360, too. I don't see how it couldn't, gameplay-wise. The PS3 controller and 360 controller are built almost exactly the same way (even more so if you count the 360's Back button as a type of Select).
