They're not just classy. They're classy classy. They're part of an upcoming Street Fighter II line by Triumvir, which will be out later in the year. These shirts, however, (also available in black, with matching caps) will be available this week at Comic Con. If you've always harboured a desire to be part of Bison's shady gang but lacked the physical chops, these are the safe, legal option for those feeling the need to nevertheless "represent".

<![CDATA[ Kick-Ass 1942 Shirt Sneaks in Cammy Appearance ]]> If you're into all things Mike McWhertor, and who isn't, than you probably already know all about his video-game themed T-shirt venture: Meat Bun.

Today the shirtmaker dropped a sexy, new 1942-themed shirt on their site featuring Cammy from Street Fighter dressed up like a 1940's pin-up girl. The shirt comes in olive, gold and light blue and is currently tied for my personal favorite with Meat Bun's Street Fighter shirt.

If you're at Comic Con you should try to pick one up and then chase Mike down and force him to sign it or a body part in Sharpie blue.

<![CDATA[ More Fancy Metal Gear Solid 4 Tees ]]> Uniqlo's Metal Gear Solid 4 t-shirts were nice. You never stood a chance of getting one, but hey, they were nice. These new shirts, being sold directly through Konami's store, are still Japanese, but are neither by Uniqlo nor as nice. But for the fashion-conscious MGS4 fan, hey, they'll do. They go on sale August 4, and if you get in quick enough, will cost you around $40. Western men of a more...robust nature should be aware, though, that they're only coming in M & L.

KOG also drops word that older styles have been reprinted, if there's some officially licensed Nintendo T you've always wanted.

Something about all those exposed chests and red coats and wonderful haircuts. So it's poignant that the official Devil May Cry range of menswear - due to be released in Japan next month - will forgo hoodies and caps in favour of gear including a couple of exquisite cardigans and leather-pocketed polo shirts. With tiny, elegant belts attached, of course. They'll come in two styles (Dante and Nero), and at a price only the most fashion-conscious Capcom aficionado could bear to pay, with the polos priced at USD$75 and the cardigans at USD$105 (Nero) and USD$125 (Dante). Looks a lot, but for the convenience of having a belt on your shirt, it's totally worth it.

Hostage Negotiator II by Alien Hominid artist Dan Paladin, Grabungadung by Schadenfreude Interactive and Glorkian Warrior by comic artist James Kochalka comprise the remainder of fantasy games from creative minds.

Fellow Kotaku Tower inhabitant Luke Plunkett has more than once suggested that I attempt to seek a sponsored endorsement deal from the company in an attempt to offset the outflow of cash that goes in the Brooklyn-based company's direction. So far, no dice. While the brand generally focuses on things like metal, horror movies and He-Man, it's first video game related tee goes for an Arkanoid vibe. Yes, that Vaus at the bottom, tackling the label's Bear Mop logo... which has exploded in a very un-Arkanoid fashion. <![CDATA[ GameSetWatch Spins Off Apparel Line ]]> polybius_tee.jpgMy philosophy on life is this: you can never be too thin, too rich or have too many t-shirts. Fortunately for those with bare torsos and a taste for gaming, Simon Carless from GameSetWatch has announced the availability of the site's newest venture, a line of limited t-shirts known as GameSetApparel. The first of four, available now, highlights one of gaming's more infamous urban legends, Polybius. Legend has it, Polybius was an arcade game so frightening that merely playing could lead to insanity, resulting in the game being pulled from public display.

Only 111 of the Polybius shirts are available, but Simon and GSA plan to release another three designs this January, all part of the Games That Never Were line and all featuring the artwork of well known artists. Should you be willing to take a chance, all four are up for pre-order now.

Good news, but as a SMALL t-shirt wearer, I'm more excited about the rumors I've been hearing of the GameSetWatch monster truck.

<![CDATA[ 'Skinning Politics' ]]> frontlines.jpg Ian Bogost has an interesting little post up on his Water Cooler Games about 'skinning games' - wrapping a pretty standard game mechanic in a fresh new wrapping, in this case wrapping standard-issue combat games in the covering of a serious political topic, an oil crisis 20 years in the future. Frontlines: Fuel of War is a regular game in the guise of a 'serious game;' certainly not the first, but it's interesting to see exactly where they put the emphasis:

The major features of Frontlines, according to the website, are: Frontline System - a "focused combat" system that "inherently promotes teamwork"; an Open World Environment (you already know what that means); Next-Gen Firepower (w00t!); Customizable Soldiers ("character choices, weapon load-out, and role specialization"); and Advanced Team Play (everyone needs multiplayer). Anything here deal with peak oil? Not so much. I do find myself wondering, though, where all the fuel for so many motorized war vehicles comes from? Maybe the game will clarify that with an in-world fiction. Then again, maybe it won't.

I suppose fully integrating the concept of an oil crisis wouldn't make the game so fun ('Sorry, soldier, you're over your fuel limit for the week and will have to stay back at base playing tiddlywinks'), on the other hand - why bother with the premise at all? The mainstream may turn their noses up at the idea of 'serious games,' but there has to be some incentive for companies to at least try and pretend they're covering some serious topics in a meaningful (uh, in name at least) manner.

<![CDATA[ Asteroid Shoes In The House ]]> Remember the Pro-Keds Arcade Series shoes I posted back in late April? I wasn't kidding when I said I was desperately trying to find a pair for sale. Seemed like the Pac-Man shoe was the only one widely available, until a reader sent me a link to Designer Athletic, who had the Asteroids model in size 8, 8.5, 10, and 13. Now they are out of 13's *grins*.

Behold, the first of many gaming shoe conquests. Fueled by Vault and guarded by Crappy Movie Preview Starscream, the Asteroid shoes are now mine.

Yes, I drink a lot of Vault, and yes, I am wearing black socks. They make me feel sexy.

<![CDATA[ Even Nintendo Thinks Wii's a GAMECUBE ]]>

Some say the Wii is nothing more than a GAMECUBE with a motion sensing controller. But, what does Nintendo of America think? Reader Ham writes:

i received my replacement wii in the mail today (quite speedy since i sent in the request last friday), and when i opened it up, lo and behold, the label heralded the arrival of my gamecube replacement. all that griping about the wii really being just two gamecubes stuck together must have gotten to someone up at NOA. i had a good laugh.

Freudian slip?

<![CDATA[ ThinkGeek's 8-Bit Tie Not Just Vaporwear ]]> TIE TIE MY DARLINGWhat started out as an April Fool's joke may turn into a real product. ThinkGeek's clip-on 8-Bit Tie appeared on the site yesterday and received such an overwhelmingly positive response, they've decided to actually produce the damn thing.

From ThinkGeek:

Hey! You! Quit emailing us to make this for REAL already ;) We promise, we'll make it. In fact we are already working on it. You've just forced our hand! Click the 'email me when available' link above to get notified! Thanks! I guess the joke is on us this year :p

But that WiiHelm? You're probably going to have to make your own. Thanks Janson!

<![CDATA[ The Not Quite Pac-Man Hoodie ]]> MMM NAAAAHHHUnderground label Mikasi has turned their "Thought Man" character into a Pac-Man-esque design for one of their latest hoodies. Instead of dots, it's money bags. Instead of ghosts, we get "money hungry b!@tches" to quote the garment.

Streetwear cliche to the max? Totally. A burning eyesore? Definitely. This kind of garish gear isn't really my speed, but maybe some of our more daring readers will find the right location to rock it.

And if $110 is too rich for your blood, a slightly more subtle short-sleeved tee version is also available with the back graphic switched to the front.

No? Hey, there are always Panic's Katamari shirts.

<![CDATA[ Verte Life's Awesome Galaga Tee ]]> I try to stay on top of the t-shirt scene, but this Galaga homage from Verte Life (who?) slipped past my radar. Fortunately, Kotaku reader Joe tipped us off to Verte's lookbook. Unfortunately, that lookbook is from last year, which means you might have a hard time finding this sweet all over, old school print for sale at this point.

Maybe the Namco cease and desist will make it impossible. Anyone seen this for sale out there on the internets?
