Note to those who object to my use of the label "classical music" -- classical music is determined by style, not by how old the piece of music is. Ergo, I stand by calling Emilie Autumn's work tasteful classical music.

One of my most terrifying experiences was in FFXI. When you get banned a GM teleports you to a very frightening cell under the main city. Then a guy in flaming red armor materializes and tells you you've been very very bad, then asks you nicely to log out.

    Truly horrifying.

@Malfunktion v2: I dunno. When you're using FleeTool to run across a zone at ridiculous speeds and then a GM shows up behind your character running at the same speed and waves to you . . . That's a little bit more frightening than the teleportation to Mordion Gaol that follows.

I think it's real, although why she would record it is beyond me. Honestly if she was that upset with him she should have just dumped him and kicked him out - you know dealt with the situation like an adult. Although I think it's pretty stupid of him to be playing Ghostbusters instead of giving her the ole Jolly Roger, but hey who am I to judge. Those pointing to the "get me a drink" reference - I think it's actually fairly likely, if she's put up with his BS for three months, she's probably gotten him a drink before.

See, now what would be _really_ cool is if after you've been banned, a small animal appears in your place, and continues to randomly wander around doing small animal things. Maybe leave it wandering around a month or so to let people know you won't be coming back. They could be extra cruel and let you continue to sign on as that character, but not actually control the animal. All you'd be able to do is ride along inside its eyes.

the transitions between each race in the video were painful at best. i've heard better segways between presention partners in 5th grade english classes.

still, major props for the visuals. guild wars is, as always, miles ahead of its peers in terms of artistic direction.

I liked the way a SGM could ban you in FF11. Pity it was almost unheard of them to act.

I often fear the banhammer right here on Kotaku. Some of my posts could be misinterpreted as fanboy because I take serious issue with a lot of Microsofts policies (IE, paying for material you have already paid for) compared with Nintendo's and Sony's policies (IE, not paying for online gaming).

I'm also quite passionate about clarifying our rights as a digital customer (content licensee vs content owner) , sometimes to the point where my frustration with the current system makes me out to be a conspiracy breathing nut job.

I would be truly devastated to be banned from Kotaku especially as I hear there is no appeal process. Hopefully if the sad day comes that I am struck with the hammer it will only knock of my star and give me a chance to earn my way back.

@Mike Newlad: There is nothing wrong with having disagreements with a companies (or industries) policies, so long as you can accept that there is an opposite end to the spectrum. I actually highly approve of xbox live even with the price tag, I feel like with the revenue it pulls in they are better able to maintain a quality control for the subscribers. But I can see your points and know it's just not for everyone.

Obviously that green shard is just one of the four or three pieces you must collect to collect another barrage of pieces to progress through the game. It was always like that in Zelda games. Remember the light tears? or the Orbs in Wind Waker?

@Boom-Chicka-Ah: Here to Create a Star Commenter Empire: That would be one thing I'd like different in these collection races. I'd like individually useful things that together make them more useful. Kind of like the Objects from the Lost Room. Where you could combine the egg boiling Wristwatch to the Knife and get Telepathy. The only problem with that show was they were never clear what the combination power came from. But it would be awesome (especially in light of Scribblenauts)
