I just don't see the point to buy something again if nothing has been done to make it better.

@snakepliskin: Yep, I've still got my copy for the Dreamcast. I haven't played it in ages, but next time I'm home, I may have to pull out the system and give it a shot for nostalgia's sake.

Street Fighter III sprite would be the one to compare vs the HD remix one. The Sprites in MvsC2 were designed for standard def, which is to say 480x480. Which is a fraction of the resolution of a 1080p (aka 1920x1080) image.

You know what would be worth it?
Darkstalkers, namely Darkstalkers 3 as it was known in the US. What an awesome game to get an HD Remix.
They still wouldn't draw a Morrigan sprite I bet.

Capcom may get a signal that people are interested in Darkstalkers. The "Street Fighter Tribute", a contest which had fans send in artwork, got about 1400 submissions a while back. They just finished "Darkstalkers Tribute", and the grand total was 2072 submissions.
Unfortunately, I just know that Capcom has completely abandoned this series. It'd be nice if they would just sell it off to SNK or Arc System Works, but just like Nickelodeon holding on to Invader Zim and doing nothing with it, Capcom will hold on to it just to get money off the merchandise.
