@Twik63: Except the netflix on PS3 thing is a pretty established rumor, as opposed to some forum goer just pulling something out of his ass... Netflix said they were interested in doing this, even if it means going around Sony's back
Considering that caterpillars either evolve to ugly moths or beautiful butterflies, I wonder what other updates are to come with TGS coming around the corner :D.
@Cheevocabra: Kingdom or no kingdom, I have never heard anyone refer to an insect as an animal. Until now of course. I just realize that I don't focus enough on entomology (in any way, shape or form, for the most part).
@MrBionic: It's most likely an issue with licensing. MS would most likely have to go through a process for each country they plan on releasing the service and it probably isn't worth it to them, especially if they're free.
@MrBionic: The UK is getting Sky IPTV and the the US still hasn't scene such a service announced for the 360 here. It goes to show MS can make the feature but there are always powers that be that can cock-block the roll out :(
the 360 really is changing fast being a new player in the industry and all. im surprised at how fast and how quickly they evolved in the few years they have been in the industry...but i still don't like 360 :P
@Boom-Chicka-Ah: May I suggest that Microsoft is going a little too fast for the industry to catch up? I notice that they really are pushing the 360 into new realms, and they seem to not care much about the competition...
Microsoft has always been into up-and-at-em' business. For as long as I can recall.
@Boom-Chicka-Ah: Well, to be fair, Microsoft is a software company. Adding new features to their product is what they have being doing for many years now. I am honestly surprised at what seems like Sony not giving a crap. The PS3 hasn't had a major update in a while.
@kidphat: The Vid Zone service is by far superior to any of the 360 additions in this post. It has giving me a completely free online music video service that allows me to listen to 25,000+ songs and growing, all on demand, all in playlists of my choice and I can download them for other devices and more importantly all for free.
Microsoft are adding watered down versions of twitter and facebook, where as the PS3 can (and has been able to for over a year) access the full sites not to mention Facebook, Bebo, Last FM.Com, YouTube, YouPorn and Kotaku of course.
Don't get me wrong it's great that MIcrosoft are adding these features but you would think that the company with the largest browser market share in the world would have added a browser to their console before Sony.
Would you be impressed if Sony put short cuts to the websites I just mentioned in the network tab with their logo's on?

That could make for some interesting additions to the PS3 library.
