Cave Story already has a pretty damn good soundtrack, but as with all things, it can be improved by being dipped in liquid fire and rendered into heavy metal. Thankfully there's Erik Peabody, who has released his new 7-track album "Made of Metal" upon the world.
From NIS America and original developer Nicalis comes Cave Story 3D, a game that graphically overhauls a title that really needed no graphical overhaul. How'd that work out? Let's take a quick look.

Fan's of Studio Pixel's original sprite-based indie PC hit Cave Story might be put off by the polygon graphics of the 3DS remake. Perhaps the game's 2D sprite mode will make the transition easier.
The lovely-looking 3DS remake of side-scrolling action game Cave Story has been bumped from a summer release to November 8, the same day as Modern Warfare 3. Good luck, Cave Story! Its publisher attributed the delay to: "additional game improvements."
