Capcom rules! One of my favorite developers ever! After all, they made one of the most addictive and original games ever, which is Street Fighter. I love SF to death!
Capcom, for me, haven't been on a roll this year. I won't touch on why, I think that's been covered to death in previous comments about Resident Evil and Street Fighter controls and DLC respectfully, but controversy certainly creates sales.
It always seems to be two steps forward, one step back when dealing with a Capcom product, unfortunately.
@Fallible.: There nothing wrong with the controls, save for the D-Pad on the 360 controller for SFIV. I thought when the games came out, all of the controversy was put to rest, seriously.
@Kyolux: @DLNO-001: @Desertwolf: @hermes200: @FrankieViturello: Oh shit!? Are you serious!? I though yall were kidding. Damn, if I were in that universe...Damn.... Where's Admiral Ackbar when you need him?
Even in 3-D, the game won't be scary. They could have the zombies reach out of the screen and GRAB you and it wouldn't be scary. Survival "horror" my ass.
Am I the only one who thinks 3D is a bit, well, old? I mean, 3D cinemas aren't great, and 3D rides are all smoke and mirrors.
It kind of seems like a cheap way of heightening the excitement of an otherwise bland product for the common-man. Definitely not my cup of tea, all things considered. There's nothing wrong with, say, Resident Evil 5 the way it is (sans control issues).
the thing is, i spent about 1000 on parts, built the pc, and i use a quad core, nothing is optimized for this technology yet, i also have 16 gigs of ram, again, windows xp doesnt even recognize the 4th gig.
i have a 1000 watt power supply, far greater than the requirement for even two of my cards, all i will need to change in the next 5, maybe 10 years, if the video card, and that being 200 bucks every 5 or 6 years, is about the same as a console. except even now with the power we can get from video cards, they will last longer, games just started making minimum requirements as windows xp as well, so that should go to show that having older tech wont stop anything, i played crysis on my really, REALLY old pc a while ago, and it ran perfect at low settings, and was just as fun, wasnt as pretty, but just as fun
@Leanid: There truly is nothing sadder than a PC elitist. I think I pretty much implied from the fact that I don't do PC gaming that I don't consider myself "hardcore". I would say that I am "real" though.
Buying into a new console generation is the same thing as buying a PC that you know will (a) Run every game released for it for the next 5-10 years and (b) have better looking games as the years go by without the need to upgrade.
You go buy your "hardcore rig" now and in 7 years time when I'm playing the latest and, if past form is anything to go by best looking game of the current console generation you tell me exactly how many games you can actually run on your "real" gaming platform.

It had better. I'm really beginning to like Capcom. They're being very supportive.

Man, It's like I'm really Captain Falcon fighting Neo from The Matrix while being attacked by racial stereotypes!

We would all watch 3D TV, drive flying cars, and wear double ties.

This is why I can't play PC games. I keep computers for about 5years, then by the cheapest desktop I can find. :P
I could never keep up with all this stuff!
More power to anyone with the time, money and willpower to do so. I'll have to wait for a new console generation to play in 3D.

Buying into a new console generation is the same thing as buying a PC with tech that's 5 years old.

Dual boot XP32 and Vista 64. Now you get to use all your hardware and still have the convenience of software compaitibility, yay!
