    @KirbyMorph: Not really. It's been mainly limited to Namco's Soul Calibur. The last time I can think of that a fighting game went out of its way to feature a non-canon character was Pepsiman appearing in Fighting Vipers. I don't personally count Fighters Megamix and the Super Smash Bros. series since they are intended to be wacky mash up fighters as it is.

    I might be the only person who doesn't really care for the cardboard tube samurai. Love Penny Arcade and just about everything they put out, but this guy just isn't funny. The artwork is nice, I'll give it that, but every time the site starts another CTS arc I go "aw damn it" in my mind.

    @Busting makes Mister Jack feel good: Well, the intent for cardboard tube samurai isn't so much to be funny. I think it's more of a way for them to take a break from the typical stuff and just tell a story for the sake of telling a story.

    @Busting makes Mister Jack feel good: Totally agree, at best it feels like a missed opportunity. Something about it reeks of childhood poignancy but it always falls flat to me, utterly dull and uninteresting.

I'm just saying that without any humor, I don't really see the appeal to this character. He seems to have a following, but I couldn't tell you why if you had a gun to my head.

    @Busting makes Mister Jack feel good: Not a big CTS fan either, but I am very happy to see the Penny Arcade crew getting MAJOR exposure like this. I have been a Penny Arcade reader and PAX goer for years. They deserve some props for getting this going.

    Sometimes it's not about the humor. Everyone has faced injustices, and everyone would love to do something to right the wrongs, and when Gabe found that cardboard tube that fateful day, he envisioned a character in which he could write those wrongs. He's more like a superhero, rather than a comic strip character. However, unlike Superheroes that use clever witticisms and brute force in dealing with their foes, you never see the CTS result to violence, or even exchange words. I think there was one of the first series of the CTS that you actually saw him and some enemies, but even then it was brief.

    I think it's just a cool story, and a nice little diversion from the norm. Don't blame you for not liking it though, I can see how it won't appeal to everyone.

    @MrGone1980: Agreed. I always feel like I've seen the exact same thing done 100 times by other artists, except more interestingly. They're trying to be deep, but I don't think they really know how.

    @KommanderKeith: I think there is a difference in the quality of the comment here. A comment that follows: "Am I the only one that thinks Xbox sucks?" or "I must be the only one who thinks LBP is highly overrated" and ends as such is inflammatory and doesn't back up what is said. Mister Jack on the other hand used it as a figure of speech while backing up what he said in a interesting way that did lead to some discussion about the character that I didn't know about. In other words, one has content and the other doesn't. Lighten up, its a figure of speech and a exaggeration, I know it must be hard for you to process exaggerations but you don't have to take everything so literal Kommander. I'm sure you're not really a kommander in real life either...are you?

    Not REALLY that interested in a PSP-Go and I am almost more interested in a 2000 over a 3000, but this bundle have me interested. Any price? I'd love a silver PSP and that game, even if the rest of the stuff are pretty "meh"
