    I dunno. Brett Ratner and David Jaffe seem like the type who would get along quite nicely.


    David Jaffe: "Hey, for this scene, I don't think Kratos should say, 'I'm about to go medieval on your ass'. I mean, it's not quite his character, nor were the medieval periods before the events of ancient Greece. It just doesn't make any sense. So, you think you could work up something else?"


    Brett Ratner: "Have you seen my movies? When is the dialogue important? The line is staying just th-"

    @NeVeRMoRe666: Just like comics, which took decades of existence before a respectable movie was made (Superman), video games will need to wait until the day games can be truly respected.


    Look at the most successful and critically acclaimed comic book movies. Superman, Batman, Spider-man, the first two X-men, Iron Man, etc. They were made with love by those who adored the franchises.


    A director who has a fond place in their heart will come along and do justice to a franchise, but not until the "video game generation" gets older and starts making movies will it happen.

    See, this is why mainstream audiences never "get" our hobby, because all they ever see are crappy hollywood renditions of it and all they ever play are crappy games of it.

    Oh thank god. Now nobody else pick it up. NOBODY. I've given up all hope that anybody out there knows how to make a good game-based movie. Just let this sleeping dog lie, PLEASE. If you can somehow ruin Max Payne, which wasn't exactly epic to begin with, there is just no hope for Hollywood and games.

    @Yoshi1001230: I had a similar occurrence recently where I said almost the exact same thing as someone.


    However, it was not this person. I was just stating that it was creepy merely for that fact. I think he was just being funny.
