Surely these requests for a larger screen were floating around well before the DSi came out. #top

Yeah, but I'm not tech-whorish enough to bother with Apple. I don't have, nor do I ever plan to have, and Apple product. #top

How about the customers who said they wanted a DS2? #top

Plus, the DSi LL has DS Lite-like battery life. For example, at "high" contrast, the Lite was 7-11 hours vs the DSi at 4-6 hours. The DSi LL is 6-8 hours.

Have I missed any? Anyone else think this is a cynical business model from Nintendo? I'm all for refining and enhancing a product but I think it might be nice to have something new that's actually, y'know, new...
I really wish I'd held onto my old DS fats but I sold them both on. Maybe nows the time to think about getting a new big screen one. #top

xbox 360 core (wired contr, no hdmi) xbox 360 arcade (wireless contr, hdmi port), xbox 360 premium (no hdmi), xbox 360 pro (hdmi), xbox 360 elite (120 gig, hdmi cable), elite without hdmi..
ps3s with thier 7 skus, soon to be 8.. slim systems, no backwards compat, backwards compat hardware or software only, wifi, card readers, 4 usb on the front...
and if you want to include the ipod touch... that thing has numerous models as well.
its just how things are man.. they try to be all things to everybody due to a larger audience.. but it sure is annoying.
even the gameboy was crazy.. but it was out for over a decade.. #top

The XBOX 360 is a completely different issue. They are esentially the same systems, just bundled with different things. The DS are vastly different shapes and sizes from one another. #top

Since we're speaking of RAM in a DS thread, I'm going to ask again if anyone knows if the extra RAM in the DSi is going to be put toward games? A new Mario or something with a boost in graphics on the DS would finally get me to move past the DS Phat. And where's a new, side-scrolling Donkey Kong Country, already?!? #top

I got burned on that, but I made do with it and I LOVED my sp. This DS thing is ridiculous to me, and it just makes me believe more and more that Nintendo is focusing on hardware rather than software, and that is horrible. #top
