I find it difficult not to get excited at the upcoming Metal Gear Rising after watching this video showcase some of the bosses in the game. Particularly Mistral and her million hands, very cool. Everyone seems to be distinct in some way though.
In our next-to-last edition of Speak Up on Kotaku, I (Fahey) decided to stick with a simple question that encompasses the very essence of what Speak Up was originally created to do. Commenter Saljuice want to know which video game bosses have given you the most trouble. Stephen Totilo doesn't count.
I wasn't sure I heard David Pellas correctly. We were standing in a noisy room. He was playing a video game called The Conduit 2 that he helped make. He was fulfilling my request by showing me what he considered to be one of the most impressive things in the game.
Video games have given the world joy, joysticks and Super Mario. They've been accused of worse. Let us hope they have not inspired TV series, like Lost, to end simplistically (thus, badly!), the way so many video games do.
