@Cronoking: Considering how Niche many of there games are...I think you probaly see more portable stuff (or Wii) with a few rare ones to PS3 (maybe Shin Megami Tensei). Nippo Ichi has 2 games for PSP and one Wii (that I recall...all ports too actually).

I see this small niche games they made in handhelds in the vast majority, except there high quality ones (aka Shin Megami Tensei for Atlus and Disgaea for Nippo). Not that I am saying they WON'T make games for the PS3, Wii or 360...just that they might be more far in between than there handhelf offerings most likely.

@daknight: Nippon Ichi has already made Disgaea 3 for the PS3. Also, it could just be rumor, but apparently Shin Megami Tensei 4 will be for the PS3.

I'd put more stock into SMT4 coming to the PS3 than the PS2, Wii or X360... PS2 is almost dead, Wii isn't exactly heavily populated with controversial games and X360 just isn't Japan's system, which I'm sure is the target audience of the MegaTen series.

Are you friends with Illusionx or whatever his name is? Most of that's inaccurate.

My 360 didn't have a $100 add on I needed. No, it came with a hard drive. The headset came with the system too. And just because a PS3 is in "HD" because of the blu ray standard, you STILL need an HDTV to see it in that resolution, as well as an HDMI cable.

Killzone 2 looks to be the first game that makes me spring for a PS3. Games like Little Big Planet just don't work for me. I prefer a deep story or heavy action. Metal Gear Solid 4 you say? I wasn't exactly taken with "Snake Eater". That video clip of Killzone 2 showing off the bullet impact physics is pretty hot.

@Moduserous: well if your in to a awesome story and the best graphics in a game to date, thn you need to play MGS4, I dont ever recall hearing or reading snake eater in that game, MGS4 has the deepest story available in a game at this point in time.

@Moduserous: It looks like the first game for the system that shows off the system's capabilities. If the game looks as good as the videos I'll be pretty happy. Now if only Sony can show other companies how to make graphics like that on their system.

@thecoo1est: imo yes and no. The story is definitely epic and fascinating, but at the same time somewhat convoluted. I think Kojima often uses 100 words to describe what can often be said in 10.

Looks like MS is taking the Nintendo approach to CES... which actually makes some sense given the nature of the show.

It's about time Sony starts showing off some fancy tech... seeing how much they dump into R&D and product development/loss-leading.
