    I have to say these games based on boardgames are garbage. Where is the secrecy, the back stab, the ability to make up your own rules or the ability to cheat when your friend is looking and saying
    "no Jerry, I didn't move your Solider to Australia, what? You calling me a lier now? Fuck you man, I thought you knew better than that *hits board game* there, you happy now, get out of my house."

    You know if you are Monopoly fan you have a lot of cool editions to choose from.
    (yeah a lot of them suck a lot worse than this but still!)
    If you like a terrific game of RISK every once in a while..
    You pretty much gotta stick with the original if you want it to be in any way fun.

    You know what, this is probably a stupid idea. I mean, the average fan of Halo won't care that Halo Wars is also going to be Risk.

    But I think in my time on this site, I've established the fact that I am in fact not average, and am actually off my rocker. SO I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH. I can't wait to bore the living bejeezus out of my family at christmas as I force them at translucent piece-point to act as unwilling pawns in the UNSC's domination of the world.

    I DID IT WITH THE STAR WARS ONE, I'LL DO IT AGAIN, DAMMIT! (Ord Mantell was my australia, I could never hold it. Curse the Outer Rim!!)

    PSH! Madagascar is the only true fortress!
    If Bowser took Princess Peach to Madagascar there is NOWAY Mario and Luigi would get her back!
    FYI that is an edition of risk that would kick some shell!
    You could play Bowser and have Goombas, Koopas, and Hammer Bros!
    Or you could play as Princess Peach and have Toads, Yoshi's and Plumbers!
    The idea sells itself!

    The board game looks pretty cool, actually. I liked the haloclix figures, so this appeals to me. Can't wait for it to come over to good ol' blighty.
