The breast in that screen shot got much bigger than they were when the game was announced. Maybe a little more focus on gameplay and a little less 'hoping-these-ridiculous-looking-ta-tas-... next time and people will get to keep their jobs?
Nah, it's just annoying to me how most female characters have sickingly large breasts. I'd like to see it presented as a negative, and with the sort of situations these characters are in (usually action games), it would be easy to have them blown off with a shotgun, cut in half, or some other way. I think that would be funny.

@simply_androoo: Actually I feel you're only saying "most female characters" because the ones that don't stick out as blatant sex symbols basically don't stick out.
@MDX: GameSpot gave it a 3.5, which seems to be the average according to Metacritic. A cursory glance at some reviews make it look like a buggy waste of software which would pretty much explain the Codemasters' decision.
@Gantz: Your Trusted Friend in Science.: Videogames are extremely complex multimedia projects. The game could have turned out bad due to any number of factors, including bad management. It's very, very possible for talented and passionate people to work on projects that turn out badly.
However, we can either be optimistic and say oh well some things went wrong during the process but better luck next time, or we can be pessimistic and say they wronged us and I'm angry because of it.
From a provider to consumer perspective at least and based on what little I know about the devs themselves, they promised me a great game with unique ideas and they failed to keep that promise. Therefore I've little respect or sympathy for them.
I was very interested in this game and quite excited. At this point I just feel a bit betrayed because I took their word for it.
Since management almost NEVER has their hands down in the shit and just assumes everything related to game design pops out of golden eggs laid by the fairy queen on verbal command.
Yes Im being sarcastic but at the same time Im sure you know that Im not joking for the most part.
@Gantz: Your Trusted Friend in Science.: The problem here is you seem to think the company is one dude and it's now some kind of personal matter between you and him.
The game industry is extremely specialized, to the point where you have people who only sculpt 3D models of characters without painting any textures or making any animation. If the game feels clunky or doesn't have any atmosphere or just isn't fun to play, what exactly do you expect someone like that to do about it? Make character models so awesome that you forget about the crappy level lighting and lame gameplay?
@Witzbold: Not sure I follow. Are you saying it's usually not management's fault? Or that they usually micromanage and it is their fault?
@Toasticus: Usually it is management that fucks up and makes insane decisions based off of well not knowing what they are talking about / being out of touch with the audience in general.
@Witzbold: of course said "poor" decisions are usually done due to things such as cost / image but for the most part having to do with money. As with anything else in the business world.
Still doesnt mean that folks cant complain about poor decisions that should be looked at a bit more from the standpoint of how it will be percieved by those who will purchase said product. Since in the end its not the "suits" who is gonna be purchasing end product. Nor is making the "suits" happy really going to serve any positive purpose for said company. Well asides from keeping the budget flowing that is, but thats a given anyways once again.
Not always the case but have seen it / heard from others within the industry that basically thats how things go quite often.
Basically the joys of "business".
Anyways no real purpose to this post but just giving a realistic viewpoint that many people are not familiar with seeing due to just being on the outside of things. Which of course there is nothing wrong with that.
