Man!! I didn't know these were for sale until too late!!
At least I got the Agro, Autohunter, and Cammy shirt....hopefully the other ones will get reprinted at some point, especially the superneomegaturbo and the shiggy+ shirt. Damn, I wish I'd been able to get on the computer before work today.
Target had some really nice deals this morning. I picked up Burnout Paradise and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway for the Xbox 360 for $20 each. I was too late to get the Dead Space deal, but that game would scare the crap out of me, so maybe I'm better off.
There is a Walmart right next to my apartment, but again, I woke up too late to get the Madden 09 deal for $30. I really wanted that one, but oh well, I definitely have enough games to play -- too many in fact.
@Deathimself: In my opinion, it's not a very scary game unless you haven't played many scary games. If you have then you'll probably recognize all of the very familiar scare tactics. There was only a handful of moments in the game that I didn't see coming from a mile away. There were actually a few moments so predictable I had to chuckle.
As a darkly-themed action game, however, it works pretty brilliantly. Disregarding the paper-thin characters and heavy-handed "sinister cult" plotline, the game is incredibly polished and successfully integrates a number of gameplay elements from winners like RE4 and Bioshock. The weapon upgrade system is pretty enjoyable, the weapons themselves are all fun to use, and the dismemberment system is just cool. Definitely a worthwhile game, especially at $30.
I was one of the lucky 500 to snag a $200 PS3 bundle on Amazon. Watching the browser refresh during ordering was intense, but all went well. What a steal! PS3 80gb, all 3 Pirates of the Caribbean on blu-ray, and Little Big Planet.
I already own the 40gb PS3, I'll move that to my bedroom TV now. This was a good Black Friday.
@ToastyBuffoon: Congratulations! It's good to hear from someone who actually got one. That was a fantastic deal. I tried for it as well, but didn't get accepted to bid. A PS3 with LBP and Pirates of the Caribbean on Blu-Ray for $200. That's a truly amazing price.
They matched every box store sales, and then some. Unfortunately some of the great things went REAL fast.
But all in all they still had some good stuff to be had, and still do. Best of all, no long lines, looking for parking, sales tax (in states that have it), price checks, ignorant/tempered people, etc.
@Ranged360: Amazon is dangerous. Me and my friends ordered Left4Dead for the PC a month ago (pre-ordered it) not only did it show up yesterday (pretty late..) they sent me the XBOX360 version, I thought I made a mistake so i took my invoice and then looked it up. I was right, it was the PC version. So I called them and they said they'll send me a copy immediately, however... their out of stock. I said fine (I wont be playing it anyways, its exam time). First I thought it was just me (bad luck) but then 2 of my other friends had the same thing happen to them...
In all fairness that was some of the best customer service Ive talked to in a while. Fast, Easy, Polite, understanding.
@Desertwolf: @Desertwolf: Personally, every time something has gone wrong with my amazon order, I've always ended up on top. When I ordered New Super Mario Bros, after 3-4 weeks it hadn't shown up. So I sent them an email about it, and I had a copy within a couple days. .... Then a second copy showed up a few days after that. :P Same deal happened with a 2gb sd card for my PSP, heh.
Yeah, I can vouch for that. I ordered a book once that took a little less than a month to arrive; told Amazon, and ended up getting two copies.
Usually though, Amazon.com is tops. I usually pre-order and get stuff for $4-10 less than Gamestop, free "Super Saver" shipping that only takes about 3-5 days, and no tax. I can't think of a way to beat that.

Oh well, I've had quite the shitty week, and I'd be stupid to think it'd get any better tonight by scoring a cheap shirt.
