    I don't know about this guy but he probably can't be worse than Craig. To be fair it's not entirely his fault, more the writers that decided to mix up the Bond franchise too much.

    Being used to much more suave witty Bonds and then having Casino Royale dumped in your face is just disappointing. It's been too modernized, losing that classy fantasy element the previous Bonds had. New Bond doesn't even quip at all. Near the end of CR he shoots a guy in the face with a nailgun and doesn't even go:
    "That nailed him" before straightening his bowtie.

    Made me die a little inside. #jamesbond

    @osteofight: what would be a Doctor Who game, in fact?

    A point'n'click with a gazillion instances of "use sonic screwdriver on (insert stuff here)?
    A Tardis racing game?
    A fighting game where the opponent always has a chance to surrender before the fight?
    Doctor Who Hero, where you remix the different versions of the theme song and add samples of "OH YES!", "Fantastic!", "Brilliant!", "Allons-y!", "Molto bene!" and "I'm so sorry"?

    oh god! are they franchising bond games? fahey, plz contact activision / bizarre and tell them that i have written maybe sixteen literature-quality james bond fanfiction novels since age fourteen and i will gladly write stories for their future games ok???

    @tim rogers: I think I would only play a Bond game if it were written by you, so you can add that to your sales pitch.

    Instead of side quests, it will have tangents, and lots of them.

    And about half of the reviews for the game will simply consist of, 'Too long, didn't play.' #jamesbond

    @tim rogers: God, really. I agree with doubtful in that I would 100% rather play a Bond game written by a fan than one written by a focus group. #jamesbond

    @Guat: Close but not quite.

    Sean Connery IS James Bond. James Bond IS Sean Connery.

    All the rest were/are simply actors playing a role.

    That being said, Daniel Craig was fun in Casino Royal but outstayed his welcome in Quantum of Solace. I'll be glad to give this new chap a go. Here's hoping he can pull it off. #jamesbond

    @MrPliskin0: Great point. I totally didn't realize he had done both. And yeah, Quantum of Solace had massive problems even outside of Craig who just seemed lifeless in it. #jamesbond

    @subnet6: No, that was the good part, he was lifeless; Bond was depressed and hell bent on revenge (you see that at the end when he drops the neckless.)
    The crappy thing was that the next director decided to try and be Michael Bay and blow stuff up while trying to have a crap story to make up for it.
    The whole of the movie is just a big setup to the uber villain, perhaps Dr. No #jamesbond

    @subnet6: That's the point, this is what made Bond no longer care; remember this is a restart, not so much the Bond we know.

    @MrPliskin0: And I've heard that rationale before. To that I say, as long as we get our James back, I'm fine with a few movies exploring the back story of what made him what he is. But at the end of it all, he damn well better be James Bond again. :) #jamesbond

    This is both good and bad.

    Good: the dev team can be more creative with the game and characters instead of following a relatively strict guideline established by a Bond film.

    Bad: Activision is totally going to make this a yearly franchise. #jamesbond

    I don't mind this so much. As much as I like Daniel Craig, it's generally a good thing when companies are given artistic license with a concept instead of trying directly follow a movie, or even one actor's portrayal of a movie character. #jamesbond

    I can't say Im the biggest fan of oo7 movies, but when I saw Casino Royale with Daniel Craig, I was in love. I've yet to see Quantum of Solace, or play the game, but it's on my big long list of things to do.
    I wasn't comfortable with Craig as Bond in the begginning, but he grew on me pretty quickly, he's awesome c: #jamesbond

    Wow, that guy looks like a douche. Really, they need to stick with Daniel Craig.

    Although maybe if the game is developed outside of the sphere of the movie release, they'll actually make a decent game. Quantum of Solace's demo, though, seemed pretty cool, but it's definitely a bargain-bin pickup for me. #jamesbond

    I turned off Quantum of Solace about 15 minutes after renting it, but Casino Royale is by far the best Bond movie (save for the parkour crap in the beginning) and one of my favorite movies of all-time.

    Craig is also good in Munich, which is an awesome movie. #jamesbond

    @Last Face: Yeah, he seems to have a similar attitude to the older actors. He also seems to be genuinely interested in it, so hopefully if it sucks it's not his fault. #jamesbond
