It's not near finished in that picture, but it's the most recent one I have. We've got a lot of cool game-related graffiti around the store. That one, there's no sense of scale in the picture, but it's very large and imposing.

This is awesome, though. It'd be fun to watch him work on it. Also, even though I'm not at all looking forward to Bioshock 2... I'd probably buy a poster of this.

Crazy! I hate drawing with pastels, and drawing in front of people. I'd get stage fright.
I wonder how much he's making for this commission.

@Antiterra: You're a braver human being than me then ;)

Actually, that reminds me of something that bothered me/haunted my dreams a while ago.

I had gone through a series of darker games, most notably Bioshock and then a whole lot of hours in the irradiated sewers of D.C. in Fallout 3, and then something started bugging me...

I actually started wondering how the main characters in that game could keep going. The stress of being afraid all of the time must have been near debilitating. Could you imagine going through days or weeks on end where every moment is sheer terror of what is trying to kill or eat you?

I think I could take Rapture or D.C. in short bursts, but by the 3rd night, after getting no sleep for three straight days, I'd be a mess. I don't think I could even sleep in Megatown knowing what horrors were just outside those tin walls.

@Yossarian: It's something I thought about while playing Fallout 3.
The main character has lived an incredibly sheltered life, and all of a sudden is thrust in something that no amount of lore and books and whatever material they had in the Vault could have prepared him/her for.

Anyone would probably have a mental breakdown (at least a temporary one) from the massive and utter shock of an entire world - and not a particular hospitable or friendly one, too - opening up before their eyes.

I wonder if that's part of the reason why I never connected with the game - never felt like I was playing a real character, feeling instead like I was moving an empty, aimless and unsubstantial shell from one locale to the next, doing whatever a green menu told me.

I'm not saying the first five hours of the game should have been spent curled up against a rock, but some kind of characterisation would have been appreciated.

(By the day, about Mary Poppins... I never said I'd follow her in... :P )

And this is supposed to be the prototype? It looks waay too advanced to be the original Big Daddy, all the others look more primitive so I hope they have changed that storyline point and made this a prototype for a new range of big daddies.

I didn't even realize they were bothering to design the main character, seeing that we never saw jack shit regarding the hero of the first game except a half-second shot of a photo that wasn't even real.
