    I'm not sure how well Fallout would apply to an MMO...but a large scale(larger than FO3 obviously) wasteland? Hell yes, sign me up.

    Though there should be a player limit to servers to keep it wastelandy. Instead of a wasteland....covered with people. :|

    @ThisCharmingMan: That's the only thing I see that would make it strange.

    That, and it seems difficult to scavange in a world full of people...maybe there'd be a character limit, and EACH CHARACTER would have their own finds?

    meaning, each character has every item ont he map available to collect, like in Fallout 3. Even if someone else got it, you can still get it, for your character. That way everybody can search for leftovers, there's no strangeness going on with respawning leftovers...

    And then you can use raiders and enemies to get extra stuff. I think that would work nicely. #fallout

    So this is alpha type stuff yeah? cos "eww icky icky" comes to mind.

    Also this could bomb bad. I think many current Fallout fans will of come from Bethseda's crack at the IP and be expecting something that plays out like FO3.
    But we'll see, but unless interplay have pulled in a fair few new elements from FO3, it's not gonna do so great.

    @djricekcn: I think the issue is that open world games take an insane amount of time to QA. With all of the possibilities that occur. Since its not like standard games that put players along a set path which makes testing a lot easier.

    Same goes for other crazy shit like the Romance of the Three Kingdom games is another example of a huge fucking nightmare when it comes to QA.

    Though with the DLC issues though not quite too sure what was up with that since those should have been caught right away.

    Also anything that has save game issues should have been failed 100% by Sony during the approval process for the PS3 version due to the TRC rules.

    The problem is that the Canadian (bilingual) release has a different product code than the USA one. The DLC released on PSN does not work with the Canadian release either, it states it only works with BLUS 30185, which is the USA release.

    I suspect the problem with the Game of the Year Edition is they just used the same version for both this time, so people with Canadian Fallout 3 saves can't use them.

    It should be able to be rectified with a patch, you would think.

    I'm pretty sure snafu (situation normal: all fucked up) doesn't work in that sentence. Thank Rogue Warrior for bringing me up to date on that! Otherwise, I'd have used it just like you did.

    While buying the GotY edition of Fallout 3, you realized there's a bug. The bug prevent you from loading the good ol' save file, but Bethesda has only promised to look into the matter. What do you do?

    * 1 Rage and destroy the Bluray disc - Melee
    * 2 Scream for help - Speech
    * 3 Patiently wait for the patch - Sneak
    * 4 Restrain yourself , and merely go play Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls to kill time. - Science

    Jeez, so many problems with DLC lately.

    Not just with Bethesda, but other companys' DLC as well i.e. Bioware's Mass Effect recent DLC.

    I hope this isn't a growing trend.

    Controls should be intuitive and simple. Once you spend more time re-learning and multiple-buttons during action, it just says :bad: design/gameplay.

    I'm only about halfway through the game but as it stands WET is my favorite game so far this year. That being said I have two big complaints:

    1) While acrobatics are incredibly fun there isn't much stopping you from just hitting the jump button repeatedly in combat.

    2) The sky diving level. Oh, I have things to say about the sky diving level. But in summary, it made me want to do terrible things to the disk.
