I'm officially meh'ed by this lineup. While all for Bethesda broadening it's content offerings beyond The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, I'd rather them go the nouveau EA route and try to launch some strong new IP's, rather than take the Blactivision approach of building a library of B level copycats to stand along side their one or two AAA franchises.

I just don't see how slapping the Bethesda name on a generic third person action game, is going to be good for the brand.

The shoulda-been-canned-when-it-was-pitched WET and what's now looking to be an incredibly generic first person shooter? Sorry, but everything that made Rouge Warrior stand out against the other million military FPS's is now gone and being replaced with Mickey Rourke? Fuck that!

Perhaps some one can explain why Bethesda hates Gamers who prefer to play on the PS3?

Sure the PS3 is hard to program for when compared to the PC and Xbox, but what has become apparent to me is adding DLC add-ons to PS games is actually quite easy.

It has to do with the file structure the PS3 uses.

@CRRRUNK -AKA RedRing O'Houlihan:Oh for christ sake. Bethesda doesn't hate gamers. Blame Sony for being unwilling to pay for the DLC, stop blaming Bethesda for not porting content that's development was likely funded 100% by Microsoft.

Viable business strategy. It works -BOTH- ways on BOTH platforms.

@Foxstar is in love with Kotaku's two Brians.: Exactly. I don't exactly agree with exclusive DLC but it was announced so long before Fallout 3 came out and that there are PS3 games getting exlusive content themselves (Batman having playable Joker)

It's too bad we didn't hear anything about the new Elder Scrolls game. Hopefully they'll announce that sometime soon - as much as I love Fallout, there's just something special about the Elder Scrolls universe to me.

So Bethesda hosts a Gamer's Day event in London where they unveil, uhhh... nothing?

I'm terribly excited (that's sarcasm there) about the company choosing to publish a couple of generic genre titles, but maybe they shouldn't bother hosting a press event unless they have a, you know, actual Bethesda Softworks game to announce?

Just a thought. WET looks like Velvet Assassin, only more generic, and Rogue Warrior has apparently had every interesting part about it cut out in favor of Mickey Rourke one liners.

    Yippee (also sarcasm).@BillyTheRatKing:

It sounds like they scrapped the original and just had the "license" painted on to "generic shooter #346".

Also, these look like bullshots to me somehow....but I know Bethesda can make some awesome looking games.

@Roxas13th: Mickey Rourke has never been washed up.....he's never in need of work. You must be thinking of Gary Busey.

Also, I'm guessing you've never heard of Sin City?
